It's a small device that gives you a wired gigabit ethernet adapter with an external monitor port from a single USB3 port. The device also gives you a single USB3 port, so you don't completely lose access to the port by having this plugged in. I try the device out on both my Surface Pro 3 and my 2014 Macbook Pro Retina system. Check out the video to see how it works.
