Learn how to remove and replace the keyboard for the HP ZBook 17 G5, G6 Mobile Workstation. For other helpful videos go to or More support options for your HP device are available at Before you begin: Remove the service door and battery. Removal Remove the three 8 mm P1 Phillips-head screws identified with the keyboard icon that secure the keyboard to the top cover. Place the notebook on its side and open the display panel. While supporting the notebook, insert a keyboard release tool into the opening in the base enclosure identified with “KB release” and gently press the keyboard to partially release it from the top cover. Close the display panel and set the notebook down with the bottom facing up. Align the service door with base enclosure and lower it into position. Slide the service door toward the rear of the notebook until it is secure and the service door latch clicks. Slide the service door latch to the locked position. Turn the notebook over and open the display panel. Carefully release the remaining edges of the keyboard from the top cover. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the point stick ZIF connector and disconnect the point stick ribbon cable from the system board. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the keyboard backlight ZIF connector and disconnect the keyboard backlight ribbon cable from the system board. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the keyboard ZIF connector and disconnect the keyboard ribbon cable from the system board. Remove the keyboard. Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard. Caution: Improperly installing or replacing parts could damage your HP device or void your warranty. Before replacing any parts, check your warranty. 9/18/2018 Update: I still use this as my main laptop. It has been turned on for the majority of the last few years and is working great. I see no reason to upgrade anytime soon. If it were to break now, I would probably just grab another cheap one on ebay and swap some parts. 1. THIẾT KẾ Tuy thiết kế được đánh giá không đẹp bằng người anh em dòng Z studio của HP. Nhưng ở chiếc máy này, HP lại đánh mạnh vào hiệu năng nên vẻ đẹp bên ngoài cũng ít được chú trọng. Thế nhưng biểu tượng HP vẫn giữ độ bóng loáng cùng dải nhựa lớn bao phú nắp nhôm xám đen. Điều này cũng khiến cho chiếc zbook trông mạnh mẽ và tinh tế hơn cả. KÍCH THƯỚC VÀ CÂN NẶNG Chiếc laptop này có kích thước 41.6 x x cm với trọng lượng 3,2 kg cho cảm giác chắc chắn khi sử dụng. Chiếc máy này dường như không dành cho những ai thường xuyên phải di chuyển. HÌNH DÁNG VÀ CHẤT LIỆU HP Zbook 17 G6 sử dụng chất liệu kim loại là chủ yếu, kết hợp cùng lớp nhựa bo viền xung quanh. Cùng với card đồ họa NVIDA Quadro RTX 5000 giuos bạn làm tốt cả phần thiết kế Gaming hay Web. TOUCHPAD Thiết kế của touchpad trên Zbook 17 có kích thước tương đương với Zbook 15 là 103 x 59mm. Sử dụng phần mềm Synaptics Luxpad Y1.6 cho cảm giác dùng touchpad trở mượt mà và chính xác. Khác với các dòng trước đây, touchpad của zbook 17 G6 được chia làm 3 phần. BÀN PHÍM Khá giống với dòng máy HP Zbook 15 thì bàn phím ở chiếc Zbook 17 có đèn led ở dưới. Các phím to, độ nảy vừa phải cho người dùng cảm nhận được ngay cả khi gõ phím. Và đặc biệt là nó không tạo nên âm thanh lớn, gây ảnh hưởng tới những người xung quanh 2. MÀN HÌNH HP tự tin khẳng định Zbook 17 G6 là chiếc máy trạm đầu tiên sở hữu màn hình có 100% gam màu DCI-P3. Màu sắc rộng hơn so với gam sRGB nhiều lần. Điều này cho thấy hình ảnh hiển thị trên chiếc máy sẽ cho ra màu sắc sắc nét và sống động. Với độ phân giải màn hình FullHD cho góc nhìn đẹp và tốt hơn. Đặc biệt là bạn sẽ không gặp phải tình trạng màn hình bị mờ hay vỡ hình nữa. 3. CỔNG KẾT NỐI Zbook 17 G6 được trang bị nhiều cổng kết nối giúp chiếc máy có thể liên kết với bất kỳ thiết bị nào. Remove the two 2 mm P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the display panel connector bracket to the system board. Remove the display panel connector bracket. Disconnect the display panel cable from the connector on the system board. Disconnect the ALS board cable from the connector on the system board. Remove the display panel and touchscreen cables from the routing channel on the right fan. Disconnect the right fan cable from the connector on the system board. Loosen the three captive P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the right fan to the system board. Lift the front edge of the right fan and slide it out from under the heat sink. Remove the right fan. Loosen the eight captive P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the heat sink over the processor components in numerical order. Note: Due to the adhesive quality of the thermal grease and thermal pads located between the heat sink and processor components, it may be necessary to move the heat sink from side to side to detach it from the system board. Remove the heat sink assembly from the system board. Reverse this procedure to install the heat sink assembly. Learn how to remove and replace the keyboard for the HP ZBook 15 G5, G6 Mobile Workstation. Removal Remove the three 6.5 mm P1 Phillips-head screws identified with keyboard icon that secure the keyboard to the top cover. Place the notebook on its side and open the display panel. While supporting the notebook, insert a keyboard release tool into the opening in the base enclosure identified with “KB release” and gently press the keyboard to partially release it from the top cover. Close the display panel and set the notebook down with the bottom facing up. Align the service door with base enclosure and lower it into position. Slide the service door toward the rear of the notebook until it is secure and the service door latch clicks. Slide the service door latch to the locked position. Turn the notebook over and open the display panel. Carefully release the remaining edges of the keyboard from the top cover. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the point stick ZIF connector and disconnect the point stick ribbon cable from the system board. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the keyboard backlight ZIF connector and disconnect the keyboard backlight ribbon cable from the system board. Using minimal force, lift the locking bar up on the keyboard ZIF connector and disconnect the keyboard ribbon cable from the system board. Remove the keyboard. Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard. Caution: Improperly installing or replacing parts could damage your HP device or void your warranty. Before replacing any parts, check your warranty.
