Link to Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim: Review: Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with 160mm fan Laptop Bags that will fit the Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim: Today I am reviewing the Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad. This is one of the most popular laptop cooling pads on the market, so let’s take a closer look. The cooler master measures 15inches by 10.5 inches by about 1 inch in height, and can support laptops with screens upto 17inches in size. The body is made from a hard black plastic with a fine metal mesh on top. It cools the laptop by sucking in air from the bottom and from the sides and pushing it upwards to cool the bottom of your laptop. When you place the cooler on a flat, hard surface, most of the air is being sucked in from the side vents. The X-Slim has a single large fan that turns on when you plug its USB cable into a port on your laptop or on a usb hub. The usb cable also has port splitter, so you don’t lose a usb port. The base has this groove for clean cable management and you can wrap and clip in the usb cable when you’re on the move. The pad is also pretty light and low profile, and will fit very easily into most laptop bags that can fit laptops larger than 15” in screen size. It also has these fold away legs on the bottom, which let you use the stand in a slightly elevated position. When I tested it with my 13 inch MacBook Pro, the metal mesh didn’t flex or touch the fan and there was no scraping or grinding in any position. My MacBook Pro’s usually moderately warm when I edit 4K videos, but with the Cooler Master under it, it stayed surprisingly cool to the touch. Its also reasonably quiet, especially since it only has a single fan. The noise isn’t annoying or high pitched. So should you buy this laptop cooler? If you’re looking for an inexpensive laptop cooler that’s simple and easy to carry around, the X-Slim is a great choice. It doesn’t have the fancy bells and whistles like LED lighting or fan speed control, but it does its job very well, it’s reasonably quiet and definitely won’t break the bank. Un scurt review al coolerpadul / stand pentru notebook-uri de la Cooler Master. Modelul exact este NotePal U2 Plus (R9-NBC-U2PK-GP). Standul este din aluminiu si vine cu niste insertii antiaderente de cauciuc si 2 ventilatoare ce pot fi montate oriunde, datorita sistemului de prindere in 4 puncte, si a graurilor prezente pe majoritatea suprafetei coolerpadului. Am testat pe laptop de (Asus ROG GL552VX) - temperatura a scazut cu 4-5grade in full load(3d mark sky diver) si aproximativ 9grade in timpul petrecut in 2 meciuri de League of Legends - ambele teste au fost rulate la 1080p cu detalii maxime. Specificatii tehnice: - materiale: aluminiu/metal + cauciuc; - 2 ventilatoare de 80mm si 10mm grosime, ce functioneaza la ~2000rpm; - alimentare prin USB, si prelungire a portului prin mufa USB2.0 cu care vine standul; - mici picioruse in spate, pentru a aduna firul de la mouse intr-un mod usor, astfel incat acesta sa nu stea imprastiat pe masa; - posibilitatea de a cara laptopul in coolerpad, astfel laptopul este mai protejat si coolerpadul incape impreuna cu laptopul intr-o geanta normala de laptopuri de ; - flux de aer 62CFM; - greutate: ~650grame - dimensiuni: 346 mm x 282 mm x 60 mm; - culoare: negru; Momentan, acesta este coolerpadul meu preferat deoarece pot potrivi coolerele la mai orice model de laptop(mici exceptii) si desi modelul vechi al acestui coolerpad era ok, acesta mi se pare ca a fost mai bine 'lucrat'. Эксперимент с прорезанием бортика на материнской плате. В pci express x1 слот может быть нужно устанавливать карты расширения с более длинными слотами. В моём случае usb контроллер размером x4. На видео я тренируюсь отрезать этот бортик на ненужной материнской плате. Нагреваю лезвие на газовой плите, затем сильно давя, делаю прорез. Способ очень рискованный, и я не советую его применять. Лучше перепаять сокеты на правильные, с открытым краем. Подробнее здесь:
