The GWN7624 is an in-wall wifi access point, designed for small to medium size businesses, offices, residential, and commercial locations, hotels, and more. It provides three-gigabit network ports to provide IP phones, IP TV, computers, and similar devices with ethernet, while also providing a network port for PoE and PoE+. This access point is designed to be mounted in-wall to provide clean and professional insulation that blends into the surrounding environment. To ensure easy installation and management, the GWN7624 uses a controller list distributed network management design in which the controller is embedded within the product's web user interface. The GWN7624 is also supported by GWN Cloud and GWN Manager and Grandstream's free cloud and on-premise wifi management platform. It is ideal for wifi AP voiceover wifi deployments and offers a seamless connection with Grandstream's wifi-capable IP phones. With support for advanced QoS, low latency, real-time applications, mesh networks, captive portals, and 200 concurrent clients per AP, the GWN7624 is an ideal wifi access point for medium wireless network deployments and medium user density. Wireless Mesh Network is a wireless extension of the traditional wired network using multiple access points connected through wireless links to areas where wired access is not an option while also expanding the coverage of the WLAN network. In the traditional WLAN network, the uplink of the AP is a wired network (usually an Ethernet Link): • The advantages of a wired network are security, anti-interference and stable bandwidth. • The disadvantages are high construction cost, long period of planning and deployment, and difficulty of change in case a modification is needed. However, these are precisely the advantages of wireless networks. As a result, Wireless Mesh Network is an effective complement of wired network. In addition, Mesh networking provides a mechanism for network redundancy. When an abnormality occurs in a wired network, an AP suffering the uplink failure can keep the data service continuity through its Mesh network. Flat panel TVs are made to be hung on the wall. It's a clean-looking installation, there's less furniture cluttering up the room, and, in our large kitchen and dining room, a hinged mount allows us to aim the TV in nearly any direction. These days, it's pretty easy wall mounting a TV. Mounts have improved, making the process less complicated than ever before. For our installation, we chose the Sanus VMF322-B1. It holds up to a 47 inch TV, articulates nearly 180 degrees, and allows for easy cable management. Our TV of choice is the Vizio 47 inch M series Razor LED M471i-A2. If at any time this project seems like more than you can handle, stop and call a professional. Before you actually hang the mount on the wall, there is a bit of pre-planning you should do: 1. Determine how you will get power and a video signal to the TV. A bunch of wires hanging down behind and below a wall mounted TV looks amateur, and, of course, we don't want that. Get a power outlet and cabling for your video sources run inside the wall to where you want the TV to hang. One solution for tackling this yourself can be found here, but most people call in a low voltage contractor to handle the behind-the-wall stuff. Also, make sure to plan for any future expansion: Will you need hard-wired Internet? Is one HDMI cable going to be enough? Thinking about becoming a cord cutter? You could need coaxial cable for an antenna. 2. Pick the right size mount for your TV 3. Determine what type of framing is inside the wall. Is it wood or metal? You need something solid to anchor the mount into. Ask at your local hardware store for the strongest anchoring solution. 4. Gather all the tools, including: Tape Measure, Stud Finder, Pencil, Drill, Wall Anchors, Screwdrivers, Level, and Zip Ties. Now it's time to get to actually hang the TV. 1. Lay out the parts for the wall mounting bracket. It has 2 main pieces. Separate the part that anchors to the wall from the part that attaches to the TV. 2. Use the stud finder to locate the framing. This is where you will be drilling into and attaching the mount. 3. Determine how high on the wall you want the TV. Mock up the mount on the TV and see how far below the top of the TV the mounting holes are. Use that number to figure out where to place the anchors. 4. Mark the mounting hole pattern on the wall using the bracket. To keep it straight on the wall, use a level. 5. Drill into the wall, put the anchors and mount in place and then tighten the anchors, again using a level to keep it level. Once it's all in place, give it a few solid pulls and tugs. It's going to be holding your very valuable TV, so make sure you get this step right. Any questions, call a pro. 6. Attach the TV bracket to the TV. Every set is different, so you'll have to refer to the instructions and see which set of bolts and shims match up with your set. 7. Now attach the TV bracket to the wall bracket. It's usually a simple interlocking system with set screws to prevent the mount from coming apart. 8. Run your power can video cables. With a non-articulating mount you will actually make these connections before step 7. With an articulating mount like ours, make sure the cables are long enough for the TV to hinge in all directions. Then neatly run the cables up the arm of the mount so they don't bind up. 9. Now sit back and enjoy your new TV!
