Qualcomm is more vulnerable to a takeover now because its shares have been held down by a legal dispute with Apple Inc, as well as concerns it may have to raise its own $38 billion bid for NXP Semiconductors NV that it made last year. Broadcom said Qualcomm shareholders would get $60 in cash and $10 per share in Broadcom shares in a deal. Including debt, Broadcom’s bid values the transaction at $130 billion. Shares of Qualcomm were up 3.5 percent at $ in premarket trading, well below the offer price, indicating that investors were skeptical a deal would happen. “In our view, $70 per share wouldn’t be sufficient,” Nomura Instinet analyst Romit Shah wrote in a client note. Qualcomm shares traded above $70 as recently as December 2016 and topped $80 in 2014. Canaccord Genuity analysts said they believed Qualcomm’s board would likely reject the initial bid as too low and said the company would prefer to remain independent. The bid for Qualcomm is an ambitious move by Broadcom Chief Executive Hock Tan, who turned a small, scrappy chipmaker into a $100-billion company that is based in Singapore and the United States. It has pulled off a string of purchases over a decade. Tan appeared at the White House last week with U.S. President Donald Trump, describing the United States as a great country for businesses. Одной из причин почему может не работать Ваш сетевой адаптер - затертый MAC адрес. В этом случае драйвера на сетевую карту не устанавливаются, или устанавливаются не корректно, и сеть не работает. Так же при этом есть уведомление "запуск этого устройства невозможен". Изредка устранить данную проблему помогает прописывание физического адреса вручную в операционной системе, однако в нашем случае это ни к чему не привело и пришлось устранять проблему на уровне BIOS материнской платы.
