Here I'm showing you how to wire, setup and install Corsair AF120 RGB Elite fans, with the logic that includes how to connect the fans to your motherboard, why you need to buy triple packs and other considerations too. There's a lot to think about, including whether you've got enough USB ports on your motherboard! I'll also show you what you need to do in Corsair's iCue software to control the RGB of the fans and tweak them. Wiring Corsair AF120 RGB fans can be a pain, but it's not necessarily as complex as you might think. In this video I'm going to show you how to connect Corsair fans and where to connect them, including how to connect them to the RGB nodes, the fan power on your motherboard or how to make life easier with a Commander Core XT. All this is being done outside the case, so that you can see the logic a bit more easily and understand the wiring in a more straightforward way. Hopefully this will help if you're planning on building a Corsair PC or just want guidance on which wires go where and why. I'm quite impressed with this and the SP120 Elite, they're both big improvements (in my opinion) over previous designs and are quite price-competitive. Both the AF120 Elite and SP120 Elite seem like they would perform great in a variety of situations, even using the AF120 Elite on a radiator - it feels like it has quite good pressure.

It has an incredibly low minimum RPM, lower than any other PWM fan I have - too low for my motherboard to detect it. The broad blades and stator vanes also seem to make it perform quite well on radiators. I haven't done proper testing with it, but it seems to move through air efficiently, without wasted airflow due to turbulence. There is almost no resonance of the blades, despite being an ARGB fan. It's nice to see a fan design other than the usual forward curved blades perform well. The ARGB implementation is average, not great, but it's pretty evenly diffused. Definitely an improvement over the standard ML120 RGB I think. The blade design is basically the same, but the "AirGuide" stator vanes are much better than the previous X struts that were used. I'm disappointed by the RGB implementation though, there are shadows on the inside of the blades, and the LEDs shine directly out at certain angles. This is because the LEDs are placed behind the outside of the rotor, rather than inside it like most other RGB fans do. I'm not really sure why they did this tbh, maybe the rotor needed extra reinforcements there for durability at higher RPM.

Они, как правило, имеют встроенные режимы подсветки и обеспечивают подключение дополнительных вентиляторов. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Для управления подсветкой RGB и ARGB-устройств с помощью материнской платы используется специальное программное обеспечение от производителя Вашей материнки. Это RGB-Fusion для брэнда Gigabyte, ASRock Polychrome RGB, MSI Mystic Light, Asus Aura и т.д.. При использовании сторонних контроллеров управление режимами подсветки может осуществляться, как с помощью программного обеспечения, так и с помощью пульта или кнопки на корпусе.
