Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 OIS 4K Video Test (Shot it on XH1 in Tokyo) This is the Second Tokyo review that I have shot when I was in Japan. The 10-24mm Fuji lens. In the previous videos. I have mentioned I love shooting with wide angle lens when I travel. Before the 8-16mm actually available in the market. This 10-24mm is the widest native fuji lens at this moment. And I like that the lens you would still be able to screw the ND filter. Unless other wide angle lens. 90% of them can’t screw a ND. It makes it a lot harder for the video shooter. I quite like the sharpness of this video. Although the f/stop is a bit slow. But the video auto focus works pretty decent on XH1 (With latest firmware update). The only down side I would say is the crop factor. As you may know, XH1 crops in when shooting 4K. So 10-24mm (APS-C) 4K crop. The 10-24mm become . Its not the end of the world. But just beware if you think you need to shoot ultra wide angle. Over all, I’m pretty happy with the end result. The next Fuji lens review will be the 50-140mm f/2.8. Also shot it in Japan. La seconda versione , Fuji 10-24mm F4 OIS WR, si contraddistingue dalla precedente principalmente dalla presenza, direi finalmente, della tropicalizzazione. Un altro particolare a me gradito è aver riportato il valore dei diaframmi sulla ghiera stessa, ghiera che si presenta inoltre più frenata nel suo movimento così da rendere più precisa nelle impostazioni e piacevole nella manovrabilità. Questa nuova versione del Fuji 10-24mm F4 ha le stesse caratteristiche dallo schema ottico al numero di lamelle del diaframma della precedente versione e mi aspetto quindi le stesse prestazioni. Comunque le lamentele dei possessori della prima versione si concentravano principalmente sulla mancanza della tropicalizzazione, implementata , una ghiera dei diaframmi mancante dei valori incisi, anche questa implementata, oltre ad una incostanza di prestazioni ottiche da esemplare ad esemplare. Yes it’s an APS-C lens on an APS-C camera body, but there aren’t a lot of compromises here optically, and I think you’d be really hard pressed to tell the difference - especially at f/8 between this camera and lens and my full frame d750 and 14-24. Overall, I’m impressed and feel the 10-24 is more than worthy of for professional real estate photographers and videographers!

This is a fairly wide and useful wide-angle zoom range. I shot in DCI 4K on the X-T4, which has a great video feature. I used Fujifilm's genuine WDR for the LUT. Here is a quick review of the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS Lens. I have sample images and video from my trip to Mammoth Cave. Overall it is a great ultra wide angle lens for photos and you can definitely use it for vlogging but you do have to be very careful with it when videoing wide open. Using the fuji 10-24 lens to film a vlog

Im not here to tell you to run out and buy the latest and greatest just because. I prefer to "measure and report". Thank you to BH photo for their continued support, links to these lenses can be found below: TL/DW - The 8-16 f2.8 is an incredibly well built Fuji XF Pro Red Label lens, but with 20 lens elements it has some limitations in both sharpness as well as exposure. You won't see them unless you are shooting side by side with the 10-24 f4 and really pixel peeping, but at $2000 ($1000 more than the 10-24 f4), I don't think its worth it unless you are a professional making money with your photography. IMO the 8-16 2.8 should be priced around $1100.
