The Sony 75-300 mm (Model SAL-75300) is a cheap mostly plastic bodied full-frame camera lens with optics that exceeded by many other lenses. Why would anyone own such a thing? Well I bought the Sony because it was affordable, and good enough for what I needed. I needed a relatively compact lens that wouldn’t devastate me if it broke. I often work from a boat conducting plant surveys and monitoring water quality. While the lens is mostly useless for those purposes I wanted to be able to get the occasional wildlife shots. My Sony a65 and previously a580 often are hidden well protected in a Pelican case, but once they’re out they are subject to a number of hazards, and the long 75-300 only makes it more likely to get bumped. While the optics are just ok, if it were not for that lens I would never have gotten a number of shots. These photographs will never be blown up to 5 feet wide, but they will show up in power point presentations, websites, and YouTube videos. For most people zooming out to 300mm is an uncommon focal length, so the expense of better, bigger and far costlier zooms just doesn’t makes sense. It’s nice that most manufacturers, including Sony make an inexpensive lens for those that don’t need it often, or need a lens they can live with breaking. Tamron vs Sony: My comparison of the new Tamron 70-300mm f/ Di III RXD lens with the Sony 70-300mm f/ G OSS. As usual, this review looks at the resolution and sharpness of these lenses, as well as their build quality and performance for shooting action and for general use. Tamron's 70-300mm follows a long tradition of great Tamron 70-300mm lenses; for the past decade, I often recommended that people buy the Tamron 70-300mm EF mount lens rather than the native Canon because the Tamron was actually a better lens, though Canon did finally release an updated version. Sony's 70-300mm is also a good lens, and more importantly, it has image stabilization. If you're not shooting with a body with built-in image stabilization, then this is a very important feature: so if you're using a Sony a6400 or a6100, it might be wise to spend the extra money on the Sony, regardless of minor differences in resolution. Zoom test of the 300 millimeters lens (Sony SAM 55-300 mm) mounted on aps-c sensor size (Sony a37), that became 450 mm equivalent to 35 mm format. With Sony clear image zoom (2x) it became an 600 mm super telephoto lens (900 mm equiv.) and still with further x2 (overall 4x) classic Digital zoom it can became up to 1800 mm equivalent!! the bird was about 130/150 meters away my position. sure, the quality isn't pretty good, but it is still usable for most of the situations, however I council to stop to x2 clear image zoom that delivers very good quality. This video shows you front part disassebling. Maximum times the fungus or dust gather in the fron part of the lens. But if your lens is affected by fungus or dust in the back part then you have to disassemble the back part. But disassemble of back part is little bit different. Because there are some extra equipment like motor and other wire. So be carefull when you are going to disassemble the back part. if you note that fungus and dust on front lens inside then you can try this. thank you.

You think something is going to be easy and ready yourself for that perspective but along comes additional information that makes you second guess yourself. Such is as it was with the acquisition of the Minolta AF 28-80mm (Japan) a-mount lens. It just begs to be disliked because of the totally plastic housing and gearing that is such a departure from the earlier versions that are made of metal and so have that tank like feeling. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like the it's only because of that material aesthetic! Functionally it works fine and I have yet to try it with the +2 diopter to see how comfortably this will work in a macro situation. The verdict seems to be that if you're working closely then this lens is perfectly serviceable (and really cheap!) if money or budget is an issue. In the video, I'm using the LA-EA4 adapter to mount this to the Sony a6500 for the brief little overview. In this video I show you how to clean dust and fungus from your rear elements inside your lens. The lens i used is a Mirage 100mm f3.5 Manual prime lens with an M42 mount.
