Recensione e tutorial del nas TS-451D2 della Qnap. Economico e molto funzionale è che possiede praticamente tutto quello che un Nas deve avere. Può ospitare 4 vani con quattro slot HDD/SSD. Il nas TS-451D2 è dotato di processore dual-core Intel® Celeron® J4025 2,0 GHz e da una RAM DDR4 da 2 GB integrata ed espandibile fino a 8 GB. Le cose che si possono fare con questo nas sono davvero tante. Non vi resta che guardare tutto il video per scoprire cosa potete fare. Difetti? Non proprio velocissimo nell'eseguire le operazioni più complesse. Mancano alcuni codec audio e video, ma forse si può risolvere scaricandoli a parte, ma che io non ho trovato. Manca anche un display per leggere le informazioni. Pro? La silenziosità pari a zero, oltre che la velocità in generale sono alcuni dei suoi punti forti. Nessun riscaldamento rilevante. Prodotto che alla fine consiglio per un uso singolo casalingo e non multi utente per una piccola o media impresa. Il suo design è il classico di sempre e lo rende adatto in ogni ambiente. QNAP czy SYNOLOGY? Takie pytanie zadaje sobie każda osoba, która poważnie myśli o zakupie serwera NAS. Który system NAS jest lepszy, QTS dostarczany przez QNAP czy DSM od Synology? W odcinku QNAP vs SYNOLOGY postarałem się podejść do rywalizacji pomiędzy tymi dwoma konkurencyjnymi rozwiązaniami bez żadnych uprzedzeń. Serwerów NAS Synology używałem od wielu lat. Dlatego przedstawiłem w odcinku porównanie z mojej perspektywy. Pokazałem jak w NAS QNAP wyglądają funkcję i aplikacje, z których korzystałem właśnie w serwerach NAS Synology i jakie są pomiędzy nimi różnice. Nie poruszałem tu funkcjonalności i aplikacji, które działają bardzo podobnie, czyli chociażby QNAP QSync czy Synology Drive, które działają na zasadzie prywatnej chmury danych. Skupiłem się głównie na różnicach, a jest ich całkiem sporo. Od podstawowej jaką jest system plików BTRFS stosowany w NAS Synology vs EXT4 w serwerach NAS QNAP po współpracę z UPS'em, obsługą Dockera czy Container Station, a na aplikacji do monitoringu IP czyli Synology Surveillance Station vs QNAP QVR Pro kończąc. Odcinek QNAP vs SYNOLOGY mam nadzieję pomoże wam dokonać wyboru, który dla Was będzie najlepszy. Ja natomiast na ten moment oparłem infrastrukturę w swoim domu i firmie właśnie na rozwiązaniach firmy QNAP i w najbliższym czasie na kanale zobaczycie więcej filmów z serwerami NAS QNAP w roli głównej. So for example you can get them to backup your data to the cloud and scan the hard drives for errors and viruses - allowing your computer to focus on your work at hand. TS-453Be The cheapest NAS presented here is the TS-453Be which is great as a first NAS and unlike units from other manufacturers it contains a PCIe upgrade slot to allow you to install a SSD/10GBe expansion card when you need extra speed. TS-453Be: TVS-x72XT The current kings of NAS at the moment is the TVS-x72XT range containing the fastest connections built in and a powerful 8th gen Intel processor to handle the fastest performance - yes performance is improved with a better processor. TVS-872XT: TVS-x72N A budget range of the TVS-x72XT which excludes 10GBe and Thunderbolt 3, however depending on the deal you can find - over in Australia I've found them listed at some retailers A$1,000 cheaper than the XT range, so for a value deal you can grab one and use one of the PCIe slots to upgrade to 10GBe yourself and you're set. TVS-872N: WHAT IS RAID RAID0 - Uses all drives to create one large storage space. RAID5 - Uses one of the drives for protection in case of drive failure - so you don't use all your data. RAID6 - Uses two of the drives for protection - better safety, slightly slower speeds. THUNDERBOLT 3 These NAS drives are easy to get up and running, however the hard drives in NAS systems are noisy and the current longest cables you can get are only 2 meters in length, so while it's great for temporary usage, I recommend using a 10GBe ethernet cable with a Thunderbolt 3 adapter instead - that way you get up to 100 meters in length. Cable: Adapter: 10GBe The current standard in performance speed, while you'll only get these speeds with 4 or more hard drives operating at RAID0, with a fast enough processor, it's a good idea to aim for these cables as they go up to 100 meters in length and as you grow out your system your speeds will improve. Cable: 10GBe to TB3 Adapter: thunderbolt+3+adapter WHY NOT A DAS? They hog your computers resources, only allow one connection at a time, and the cable length is limited so they can be a very noisy solution. WHICH HARD DRIVES? I've been using Seagate Ironwolf Pro drives for the past few years, they have large capacities at fast operating speeds. Seagate IronWolf Review: WIFI All NAS systems I've used require a direct connection to a router or a WIFI dongle to connect to the internet. Connecting to the internet is a security risk, however if used cautiously with good security practices, it is great for accessing a NAS from both over the Wifi or over the Internet when required.
