il nas Qnap TS 669L e' un produttino molto interessante, che, nonostante i quasi 10 anni d'eta', sta benissimo nelle case e nei piccoli uffici. Silenzioso, capiente (con le 6 baie per dischi anche da 6 Terabyte), ha solo un unico piccolo difetto. Esce di fabbrica con un solo Giga di ram. In questo video vedremo come aggiungere un secondo banco di memoria (nel nostro caso altri 2 GigaByte). Gardando il video capirete che potrebbe essere possibile spingersi un po' piu' in la' (ma non mi reputate responsabile se fate casini :D), ma nonostante l'architettura del NAS e' a 64 bit (l'atom D2701 infatti, con i suoi 2 core e 4 thread e' a 64bit), il sistema operativo che gestisce il nas e' compilato a 32bit e quindi il massimo di memoria indirizzabile e' 4GB. La ram che dovrete procurarvi e' qualcosa di questo tipo: Se vi servisse un leverino per aprire il coperchio posteriore, io ho usato quello in metallo presente in questo kit: Buona visione :D

QNAP TS-639 Pro is a NAS server I have had for many years, I have decided to retire it and sell it. I want to just be using Synology NAS, instead of having both. This has been running for so long that I had totally forgotten what I had in it. I know it was 2TB drives. And was planing to use those in another projekt. It turned out to be 5 WD Green drives, all over 7 years old, and an even older Seagate drive. I am sure this will give an lively chat in the comments. Even just 1$ a month, comes out to the same as Binge-watching all of my 511 Videos every month.
