My Time Capsule HDD died! It's been dead for ages but I haven't had the chance to do the swap. I swapped the original Seagate 2TB with a shiny new WD Red 3TB. An extra TB of space and a brand new drive, hopefully fully functioning drive. This is not the easiest process in the world. Дизайн мне нравиться, хоть они и очень похожи на apple watch, ремешок удобный, но у него есть один минус, он очень хорошо собирает пыль. Спать в часах удобно, при носки вообще не ощущаться. На корпусе с тыльной части есть два контакта для зарядки и датчики мониторинга здоровья. Из датчиков, к слову, на борту Биометрический ФПГ датчик - BioTracker 3.0, Датчик ускорения, гироскоп, геомагнитный датчик, барометрический высотомер, датчик внешнего освещения. Далее есть одна кнопка-колесико включения/выключения устройства, вход в меню и возврат на главный экран, с помощью нее так же можно прокручивать меню и так далее. Это конечно не digital crown, но работает не плохо, тактильная отдача вовремя прокручивание не плохая, но далека от идеала. И в приложение можно повесить на эту кнопку любое действие, которое будет срабатывать при удержании ее. Далее на борту иметься микрофон, который предназначен только для голосового помощника или голосового управления, а динамиков нет. Сборка часов мне понравилась, не каких зазоров я не нашел, да и качество материалов меня порадовало. Летим дальше. С фронтальной части нас встречает AMOLED экран на дюймов с разрешением в 390х450, пикселей на дюйм 341. На официальном сайте указано что яркость у них до 1000 нит, и это скорее всего в режиме автояркости. Экран плоский, с легка закруглёнными краями для эстетики. Картинка у них яркая и насыщенная, но белый цвет, особенно текст подсвечивается что создает ощущение размытия. При ярком освещение яркость хватает, вглядываться не приходиться. На борту так же есть автояркость которая быстро подстраивается под освещение. Есть полноценный Alweys On Display с пятью стилями, его можно включить как на весь день, так и запанировано или в автоматическом режиме, за это плюс однозначно. Время отключения экрана максимум 30 секунд. Скроллинг с не большими рывками, интерфейс за время моего использование подвисал. При поднятии руки экран загорается практически моментально, и в настройках можно настроить скорость отклика. Блокировка при снятии часов с запястья работает хорошо. Далее. Циферблатов на самих часах 8 штук, они так же имеют свой функционал, к примеру на одном из циферблатов можно сразу с главного экрана запустить секундомер, и их можно прямо с часов настроить под себя что хорошо. В приложение есть циферблаты, но их не много, и свою фотографию поставить на заставку можно. Анимированные циферблаты на борту. Так же есть персонализация меню с тремя темами. С главного экрана по свайпам нам доступно с низу вверх - уведомления, с верху в низ - панель быстрого доступа, которую можно настроить под себя, заряд аккумулятора показывает в процентах. Далее свайп слева на право и наоборот - виджиты которые так же можно настроить в приложение. Меню не маленькое поэтому перечислю основное - перманентный мониторинг сердцебиения, кислорода в крови и стресса. Далее, мониторинг сна, и сон считывают не плохо. Пульс и кислород в крови у воздуха не считывают, а на руке показатели приближенные к реальным. Есть плеер для регулировки громкости и переключение треков воспроизводимой на смартфоне, конечно же на борту стандартные приложение такие как календарь, будильник, а калькулятор нужно установить через приложение, но хорошо, что такая возможность есть. Часы многозадачны, секундомер и таймер можно запускать в фоновом режиме. Далее есть удалённая фотосьемка и срабатывает она моментально, так же завезли приложения барометрический высотометр, компас, мониторинг менструации и т.д. С этим делом разобрались летим дальше. Загрузить музыку или медиа контент на часы не получиться, хоть и есть память, но она предназначена для установленных приложений. Операционная система Zepp OS 1.0. К Wi-fi не подключаться. Bluetooth версии 5.1. Подключить нагрудный датчик или даже наушники возможности нет, связь с устройством с которым они в паре держат стабильно, и

Synology 10Gbe NAS Vs QNAP Thunderbolt NAS The appeal of network attached storage (NAS) cannot be overstated for photo and video editors this year. Content creators, ranging from bedroom business entrepreneurs to high-end studio broadcasters create so many gigabytes and terabytes every day, that it is inevitable that a robust, safe, reliable and accessible array of digital storage is invaluable. Synology and QNAP NAS have fast become to the right answer to these needs, but standard network/internet enabled storage typically hits 1 main stumbling block – speed. The internal speed of your NAS can be accelerated in multiple ways (SSD Cache, improved Memory, better CPUs and tiered storage) but external connections that allow users to DIRECTLY access files and folders on the NAS, whilst still maintaining the ability for hundreds of users to access the NAS at the same time via the network/internet, is one that is not so easy. 80% of NAS can only be accessed via a shared network of 1GBe connectivity or the internet (which is more than enough to distribute completed work, download files, backup regular and share links), but it is that other 20% of NAS that I want to talk about today. These are NAS that use a much faster form of access, allowing editing of 1080p, 4K and RAW media files that are just TOO BIG for 1Gbe to handle. Attempts to do so over 1 Gigabit ethernet result in programs like Final Cut Pro, PhotoShop and Premier crashing/stalling. For this kind of file access on your NAS, you need to consider 10Gbe and Thunderbolt NAS Why Consider Thunderbolt NAS and 10Gbe NAS Both Thunderbolt NAS and 10Gbe (10-gigabit ethernet) are the best solutions for those that want to access and edit files on the NAS fluidly, whilst still maintaining a network-wide means of access and distribution. Both can be DIRECTLY connected from a PC or Mac to a NAS and most importantly of all, both 10GBe and Thunderbolt are suitable means to edit dense RAW photos, heavy 4K Media and multiple 1080p files. This is further bolstered by the support of Non-Linear Editing (NLE) with programs like Final Cut Pro and Premier mean that when you are editing a file on the NAS, you are actually using a clone/copied version which means that the original file is not touched/altered in the refinement process of editing your work. It is for reasons of speed and stability that both 10Gbe and Thunderbolt 2 or 3 NAS are considered the best options for NAS editing. Need to backup your Mac? In this tutorial we'll show you how to do it with the Apple Airport Time Capsule. If you don't own one already they come in 2tb and 3tb sizes and you can get them here: Link to Setup Software for Windows: Link to App to Setup via iPhone/iPad (USA link) What we love about the Airport Time Capsule is it performs two tasks incredibly well; providing you with a wireless network with exceptional range that seldom needs to be boosted (but can be if necessary) and also it will backup multiple Apple computers wirelessly. Typically one Time Capsule will provide wifi for approximately 2,000 square feet. If that doesn't cut it, you can add an additional Airport Extreme or Airport Express to act as a booster. I am Up to 174TB on the OpenMediaVault NAS, but has run in to the issue of it not doing the disk pool I was dreaming about. I really like the way Windows Storage Pool does it :-/ just throw all the drives in a pool,, and then you make virtual volumes on top of that,, and you decide if a volume needs to be raid 5 or 6 safe or maybe totally unsafe. and the over provisioning is also nice. NAS-Systeme bieten einem die Möglichkeit, eine eigene Cloud zu erstellen. Man kann also von Computer, Handy, TV und Co aus auf solch ein NAS-System zugreifen und Videos anschauen, Dateien hochladen... Mittlerweile gibt es allerdings einen solchen Dschungel an NAS-Systemen in unterschiedlichen Preisklassen, da fragt sich, welches nun das beste ist. Wir haben das QNAP TS-221, das Synology DS213j, das Buffalo LS420 und das DLINK DNS-327L NAS-System getestet und mit einander verglichen. Das DLINK DNS 327L ist mit gut 130 Euro das günstigste Gerät in unserem Test. Was beim Auspacken direkt negativ auffällt: Das Gerät ist komplett aus Plastik gefertigt. Das macht es zwar schön leicht, allerdings fühlt es sich kaum wertig an. Auch werden bei dem NAS-System keine Festplatten mitgeliefert, was durchaus üblich ist, aber vor dem Kauf beachtet werden sollte. Ist das DNS 327L dann angeschlossen, kann man mit der Installation beginnen. Bei der Installation fällt ein weiterer negativer Kritikpunkt auf: Sie ist nur auf Englisch verfügbar. Hier werden also geringe Englisch-Kenntnisse vorausgesetzt. An Schnittstellen bringt das DLINK NAS-System einen USB sowie einen LAN-Anschluss und einen Anschluss für ein Kensingtonschloss mit. Mit dem USB ist es möglich, Daten direkt von einer anderen Festplatte oder einem Stick aus auf das NAS zu kopieren oder über das Netzwerk zugänglich zu machen. Dafür, dass die Daten auch schnell verarbeitet werden, sorgt ein 1,2 Ghz-Prozessor. Etwas störend ist allerdings das recht kurze Netzteil des DNS 327. Dateien auf das NAS hochzuladen via Wlan klappt gut, genauso wie alle anderen Funktionen des Geräts. ► DLINK DNS-327L: Auch aus Plastik aber mit gut 170 Euro etwas teurer ist das Synology DS213j. Wie beim DLINK-NAS-System werden auch hier keine Festplatten mitgeliefert. Das Öffnen des Systems für das Einsetzen der Festplatten geht leicht von der Hand. Schnell sind beide Festplatten eingebaut. Danach schnell an den Strom anschließen, LAN-Kabel rein und schon ist das NAS startbereit. Neben dem LAN-Anschluss, verfügt das Gerät auch noch über zwei USB 3.0 Ports und eine Kensingtonschloss-Vorrichtung. Damit das Gerät in vollem Umfang nutzbar ist, muss noch die Installation durchgeführt werden. Die ist schnell und leicht erledigt. Nun kann man via Browser den Synology DiskStation Manager, aufrufen. Hier findet man eine vielzahl von Apps, die für vieles eine große Hilfe darstellen. Man kann seine Daten beispielsweise durch eine App alle verschlüsseln lassen, kann mit Hilfe einer anderen App verschiedene Contentmanagement-Systeme wie Wordpress installieren, Backups durchführen uvm. Hinzu kommt, dass das Ganze sehr ansprechend gestaltet ist. ►Synology DS213j: Wertiger als diese zwei NAS-Systeme erscheint die Buffalo Linkstation 420, durch das hier verbaute Material. Bei diesem System werden als einziges die Festplatten mitgeliefert. Für die 4 TB Variante der Linkstation zahlt man gut 260 Euro. Etwas mager sieht's bei den Schnittstellen des NAS-Systems aus: Gerade mal ein USB , ein LAN-Anschluss und eine Kensingtonschloss-Vorrichtung sind vorhanden. In dem NAS werkelt wie bei den anderen auch hier ein 1,2 Ghz-Prozessor. Die Installation des Geräts geht leicht von der Hand. Danach kann man über den Browser die verschiedenen Funktionen der LinkStation nutzen: Ein Interface mit verschiedenen Apps gibt es nicht, dafür ein paar Vordefinierte Funktionen. Über die Web-Access-Technologie kann man anderen Nutzern den Zugriff auf ausgewählte Festplatten erlauben und über den BitTorrent-Client kann man torrent-Dateien direkt auf die Linkstation herunterladen ohne den PC. ►Buffalo LS420: Mit gut 300 Euro das teuerste NAS in unserem Test ist das QNAP TS-221. Für das Geld bekommt man bei QNAP aber auch einiges geboten. Alleine die Anzahl der im schicken Aluminiumgehäuse verpackten Schnittstellen ist enorm: Satte zwei USB 3.0 Ports, ein USB 2.0 Port, ein LAN-Anschluss, zwei ESATA-Ports sowie eine Vorrichtung für ein Kensingtonschloss sind integriert. Und auch das, was in dem NAS steckt, hat power: Ein 2 Ghz-Prozessor sowie 1 GB Ram. Die anderen NAS-Systeme dieses Tests haben jeweils nur 512 MB Ram. Das Pusten des Lüfters hört man bei dem Arbeiten mit dem Gerät aber leider ziemlich deutlich. Hinzu kommt, dass eine Überzahl an Apps etwas an der Performance des Geräts nagt.
