Another improvement to the setup I use to shoot my YouTube videos: This time I’m replacing the cheap $10 tablet mount I used so far (link below) by a JOBY GripTight Mount PRO. To be honest, I was never really happy with that cheap tablet holder. It was too wobbly. Even the slight touch or jab caused it to swing around for a while, and when it was attached to the desk any vibration was amplified. It was the reason there were so many earthquakes during my videos ;-) Anyway, the JOBY GripTight Mount PRO is a real improvement. It uses much more metal instead of plastic, rubber instead of foam pads, and has a different geometry that is inherently more rigid. It’s not perfect, for example you can adjust the pitch of the tablet in fixed steps only, but I’m happy so far.
