Here is a test video I took with Sony's new FE 28mm F2.8 and its 7mm Fisheye adapter for the Sony A7. This was at a hole in the wall concert venue in Ikebukuro in Tokyo. The last clip of the metal band was taken with a Sony As100v action camera. Its performance is pretty much identical to Gopro's black edition. It was also shot in XAVC format (better performance.) The A7 with its fisheye adapter clearly provides superior video in every way. Having a full frame fisheye lens for the A7 is a perfect match for concert, city, landscape, and any shooting situation when you just want to take in all that is in front of you in beautiful full frame fashion. The 28mm f2.8 lens on its own is also great, maybe ill post some more videos of it later.

The Sony 28mm f2 is a very affordable little full-frame lens and oh boy is it great for the price. It's light, it's compact, and it has tremendous autofocus. All for just a few hundred bucks! If you are looking for a little lens that's great for talking head shots yet not too wide, you should really consider the 28mm. In this video I talk about how for anyone just starting out on YouTube or for making videos, the value for the lens is just hard to beat. Расскажу о самом компактном блинчике, который когда-либо попадал мне на обзор. Этот объектив значительно меньше Canon EF 40mm f2.8 STM и даже меньше кропнутого Fujifilm XF 27mm f2.8. Это ооочень компактный объектив с широчайшим углом зрения. В названии объектива указано, что это fish-eye, но на самом деле это не совсем так. Pergear 10mm f8 - недофишай. У него эффект, как если одеть полнокадровый фишай типа Зенитар 16мм на полный кадр. Дисторсия есть конечно, но если не присматриваться, он может сойти просто за широкоугольник. Quick test of Sony 28mm f2 with SEL075UWC adapter which becomes a 21mm f2.8 on my Sony A7rii filmed in 1080 50p at night with 1/50 f2.8 at iso3200, was bit of an low light test also to see how the 1080 50p would look like at night. It seem ISO3200 is too much for this camera on full frame mode and at such even would need a faster lens or not use the UWC which had change the f2 lens to an f2.8. Also the entire video was filmed handheld without any support. Sony 28mm f2 FE Lens Review SEL28f20 Tested on the A6000 and A7R. Very Capable lens to either love or hate! Here is a review and Quick Test. It's staying in my bag. $450. Buy it here on Amazon: US: UK: CA: The 28mm f2 is the sharpest at 3700 lines of resolution on the a6000. The Sigma 30mm has 3600 and the Sony Macro 30 has 3500 and the Sony 35 f1.8 is 3450. All are considered excellent in the center but the 28mm f2 has better corners at 3100 the rest average 2700. The 28mm f2 is also sharpest wide open.

The Sony 28mm F2 lens is perfect for filmmaking. The Sony FE 28mm f2 is in my opinion the best overall lens because of the price point, the weight, how wide it is, and how fast it is.
