Давно хотел поснимать объективом премиум класса SONY 70-200 F2,8 GM. Много о нем слышал и наконец он оказался у меня в руках. Правда всего лишь на два дня, но все же я успел насладится работой с ним. Не знаю, может я не объективен, но я у него не нашел ни одного недостатка (ну может кроме высокой цены). Думаю со мной все согласятся, что sony 70-200 f2,8 GM является вершиной человеческой мысли в области создания оптики для фото. Вы даже представить себе не можете, как мне было жалко его возвращать из аренды. Мы с ним так хорошо поладили за это время. Ладно, буду надеется, что в скором времени я смогу себе позволить его купить. Unboxing the fantastic Sony 70-200mm F2.8 G SSM II lens. # PURCHASE: PURCHASE FROM AMAZON: The Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 G SSM II Lens is a versatile zoom lens covering portrait-length to telephoto perspectives and featuring a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture for enhanced low-light shooting and focus control throughout the zoom range. A Super Sonic Wave Motor (SSM) focusing mechanism provides fast, smooth, and quiet focusing performance with enhanced tracking capabilities that are well-suited to photographing quickly moving subjects. Also helping to increase focusing speeds is the integration of a Focus Range Limiter, which enables you to set pre-defined limits for the lens to focus within for faster response times. Additionally, when paired with Sony A-mount cameras, in-body image stabilization renders this lens stabilized and supports the use of longer shutter speeds with a reduction in appearance of camera shake. The optical design employs two extra-low dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range as well as heighten image clarity and overall sharpness. A Nano AR (anti-reflective) coating has also been applied to lens elements in order to reduce lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich imagery and high color neutrality. Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 OSS G Master 4K Video Test Sorry, I was away for holiday. So did not have time to upload any new videos. (I went to Japan, Hong Kong and Korea) New videos are coming... This is the Sony FE 70-200mm G Master OSS lens for full frame e mount camera. G Master is a professional high end lens. Build quality is awesome. Feels really good in hands. Focus ring has improved a lot comparing with the FE 70-200 f/4.0 G OSS lens. But still focus by wire. Tho. The only downside I would say is the weight. Considering this is a mirrorless lens. But having a lens on a mirrorless body is a bit overkilling. When you attach the lens to an A7SII, front heavy problem is very noticeable. (Works better with the battery grip attached) Overall, it's a great lens. Image quality is superb. OSS works great for video shooter especially for A7S series 1. The Sony 70-200 G FE f4 OSS lens may just be the BEST ZOOM lens EVER made! I plan on using this lens with my Sony Alpha A7sII and because of the high ISO capabilities of that camera the f4 aperture will not be an issue. This lens is more than sharp enough at f4 to shoot beautiful portraits and for general wedding and event coverage. This Sony FE 70-200mm F4 OSS SEL70200G lens is very well made in Japan. I can't wait to use it on my Sony A7sII that's on order.

This is guaranteed through the use of an XA element, two aspherical elements, four extra-low dispersion elements, and two Super ED elements in the optical design. Furthermore, the lens has a Nano AR Coating that reduces reflections, flare, and ghosting for improved contrast and color.  Optimized for speed, this lens is equipped with a fast and constant f/2.8 aperture that will be an asset in low-light conditions as well as for creating images with shallow depth of field. Bokeh is made even better by the implementation of an eleven-blade circular diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus areas. Also, there is a double-linear and ring Super Sonic wave Motor system that provides fast, responsive autofocus in both stills and video.  As a top end telephoto zoom, this lens is equipped with a variety of other technologies to assist shooters, including Optical SteadyShot image stabilization for combating camera shake, especially at longer focal lengths. Users will enjoy faster and more intuitive operation with a plethora of physical controls on the lens barrel, including three focus hold buttons, a focus range limiter switch, and both AF/MF and OSS switches. For durability and working in tough conditions, the lens is dust and moisture resistant, and it has a fluorine coating on the front element to resist water and oil. As part of Sony's esteemed G Master series, this lens is designed to achieve notably high resolution and sharpness through the correction of a wide variety of spherical and chromatic aberrations. Additionally, these lenses feature robust and intuitive-to-handle physical designs to benefit both photography and cine applications. A popular telephoto zoom designed for full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras, this 70-200mm lens is also compatible with APS-C models where it provides a 105-300mm equivalent focal length range. A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture offers consistent performance throughout the zoom range and also lends greater control over focus position for shallow depth of field techniques. Of the three aspherical elements incorporated in the lens design, one is an XA element with superior surface precision to effectively reduce astigmatism, field curvature, coma, and other monochromatic aberrations from imagery. Four extra-low dispersion elements and two Super ED elements are featured in the lens design, too, and help to control chromatic aberrations and reduce color fringing for increased clarity and color fidelity. A Nano AR Coating has been applied to reduce surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for increased contrast and color rendering in strong lighting conditions. An advanced double-linear and ring Super Sonic wave Motor system ensure fast, precise and accurate autofocus in both stills and video. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds. This stabilization system can also be combined with select camera's sensor-shift type image stabilization for more effective control of camera blur. An OSS Mode switch lets you choose Mode 1 for general image stabilization that is suited to most types of shooting as well as a Mode 2 setting that is specifically intended to be used with panning movements. A floating elements system benefits image quality when working at the ' minimum focusing distance with magnification. The lens barrel is equipped with three focus hold buttons and a focus range limiter switch to permit fast, intuitive operation of the lens while shooting. The front lens element features a fluorine coating to protect against smudges and dust from adhering to the glass surface. Dust- and moisture-sealed design better permits working in inclement conditions. A rounded 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality when employing selective focus techniques. A removable, rotating tripod mount permits quick switching from horizontal to vertical shooting orientations. The included petal-shaped lens hood helps prevent flaring and has a filter access window for making adjustments to rotating filters such as polarizers and variable NDs. Product photography Portraits you have to be really far away but it does look really great for full length you have to be really far away. Head shots look really awesome. Events obviously the best use case for me The build quality is amazing as you would expect. This thing is heavy, but then I would say that if you only got into mirrorless to cut down the weight of your kit then maybe you should have your head checked I think that I would sooner recommend the f4 version because if you know that you need the f2.8 I want to show off the footage from Etsy and from the yoga thing I want to show off the difference it makes to a photograph like the one in town that I took of the trams and stuff Compare it to an older lens to show off what I mean by contrast and sharpness There is a reason that there is always a space for such a big lens in camera bags I even used to rent a Nikon 70-200 when I was shooting weddings. Admittedly I have free rental for two years so that was a no brainer. I wanted to mouth off about how you dont need this lens in this video and how it is niche but having tested it on some portraits and products I see that its actually really versatile. What I would say though is understand what this lens is for and what its doing Unless you are shooting sports, wildlife, events, weddings or another area that you need the tele part of this telephoto lens you dont need the reach of it. If you are shooting something where you can move closer to the subject then you dont need it… wrong If you want to blur out the background this lens might be for you. Having said that the f4 version at 200mm will throw out the focus on the background pretty nicely. You should get it because at f2.8 you have a low light beast and you can go super ninja stealth at your next wedding or event. Well remember that f2.8 is only a stop brighter than f4 and that with the iso performance of cameras in 2018 means that this is way less of a big deal. But you still need to be able to zoom though, well yeah if you can’t move yourself or you subject, it is really handy but if you can move closer or further away a zoom might not be necessary, it might just make you lazy. So then maybe you want to buy a prime lens instead and get a better quality image, well maybe not. 70-200 covers a focal range that is technically easier to design good optics for. Which in practical terms means that the 70-200 is optically almost as good as some of the primes in the same focal length. The real reason I want to have this lens in my bag is the compression, the fact that it is a zoom means that I can control how I see the background in relation to my subject. Its easier if I show you. Cut to me out in st peters square In this shot taken on the 16-35 at 16 you can see the different perspective that you get. This is the reason that a 70-200 could possibly end up in my bag. It works with product photography too. You can lay things out on a long ass table and get on the level with them and the results will be awesome. For years I’ve used a 60mm macro lens for product stuff because I really liked that focal length but to be honest I think a 70-200 would be awesome at this point. That being said it wouldn’t end up in my minimalist kit. My minimalist kit would be a 16-35 and a 100mm macro. So obviously its a great lens, so is the canon one, there isn’t really anything in-between them. I had a good time shooting with it.

Why did I buy this lens when I already have the Canon 70-200/2.8 IS? Ever since I switched over to Sony mirrorless, I've had some issues using the Canon lens with the Metabones adaptor. This combination is fine for most things, but when light is tricky, focussing can be difficult. And that can't happen at a wedding. Thanks for watching. This brand new Sony FE70-200mm f/ II lens was announced on Oct. 13, 2021 at 10am EST. I was able to shoot with it for about 20 days. I tackled all kinds of various shoots to really try to understand this new lens in relation to the rest of my lenses. It will certainly find a home in my bag and the venerable 135GM may find itself sitting at the office when a more versatile lens is needed for certain assignments. It works amazingly well with both the and 2x teleconverters, as well as with the SONY FX9 video camera. This is a strong sports, action, and birds in flight lens that can also be used for other types of photography like portraits, weddings, photojournalism, and even product photography.
