Today I want to share my experience of using the Panasonic Lumix 35-100mm f/4-5.6 telephoto lens for Micro Four Thirds. After using it for a few years and intensely using it these last few months, I think this is the best compact telephoto lens that will suit especially well for travel photography and landscape photography. This lens is very small and lightweight, and thus perfect to carry on a journey by plane because it won't eat too much of the airline weight restriction inside your bag. Today I want to do a quick review and share my experience about the Panasonic Lumix 35-100mm f/2.8, the first version. It is not the kind of lens that I frequently use, but when I got the chance to force myself to use this lens a few days ago, the lens performed really well and was really inspiring and made me think about new composition and usage for the lens creatively. It is a professional lens, with weather sealing and high grade build quality. As an equivalent 70-200mm in Micro Four Thirds, it is intended to be a zoom portrait lens, documentary lens, wedding and pre-wedding photography lens, as well as just an awesome mid telephoto lens to use for product photography, and studio kind of shots. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Lumix 35-100 2.8 pro. It's small, silent auto focus, weather sealed, internal focusing, dual image stabilised, sharp as a PIN and just all-round awesome for video and photos. It's so easy to take it into gigs and events, because it's so small. Pair it with a small body and you're golden, even at mega strict events like this one. I managed to shoot this all from the comfort of my seat and with one hand, as I've sprained my wrist. I'm so happy the lens is stabilised! I've managed to get some great results from it over this last year, and this video is all about my trip to London to watch an NFL game. I'm a Seahawks fan to the bone, so watching the Rams and Cardinals was sort of a bizarre experience, as they're our divisional rivals. For the tactical win I should have been cheering on Arizona, but I've got so much respect for the LA Rams this year. They were amazing - especially Todd Gurley, though no surprises there. WHOSE HOUSE??? RAMS HOUSE!! It was such a shame that Palmer broke his arm during this game. Actually, I think I managed to film it? I think it happened when he got sacked early on. The Panasonic 35-100mm f4-5.6 is a super compact telephoto lens for the Micro Four Thirds systems. I got into MFT primarily for this lens to fill a void in my photography setup. I use the Fuji APS-C X system and prefer the smaller lenses for my professional and personal use. Fuji doesn't make a compact zoom with this range so decided to look at other options. I use to have the Pentax Q7 and there was a 70-200 equivalent which I found useful but the small sensor let me down in some situations. Although its primarily for personal use I do want to have the opportunity to submit good shots for stock photography work. In this video I review and test the Panasonic FS45150 45-150mm zoom lens for Panasonic Lumix cameras. The camera I used in all of the footage and photos you're about to see is the Panasonic Lumix G85. The G85 and the Panasonic 45-150 lens is a pretty great combination for outdoors photography and video. This is the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G Vario lens video test. I shot this video with my Panasonic DMC-GH3 (Filmed with Neutral color setting). This is my second favorited lens after the 12-35mm f/2.8. Not just because of focal length and image stabilization. It is because this lens is "Parfocal", which you only need to focus your subject once. Then you don't need to refocus when you zoom in or out. Plus the constant f/2.8 aperture gives you very decent low light performance. And it won't dark in when you zoom. It is super handy for video shooting. I really enjoy using this lens.
