Tray 1 is loaded with A4 paper while Tray 2 is loaded with A3 paper. We also show how to configure the trays - setting the paper sizes for each tray and the default tray to print, copy & fax. Finally, we show how to set a document to A3 size and send to print to show that the printer automatically picks the A3 paper from Tray 2! (The full feature software must be installed first!)

It shows you how to download the .ful file to put onto your flash drive so that you can downgrade the firmware to allow you to use third party cartridges. Go to this link to get the .ful zip file for your respective printer. #iBAlKU4LPALA4DbMIwdFQg NOTE this is just an alternative option to those who cant get to downgrade their machine via the PC. I cannot guarantee this will work for everyone, also some printers do not have usb ports to be able to use this solution.

TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 Printer - Ink System Failure: --- For the #HP #OfficeJet Pro 8720 Printer (#HP8720), if you have installed a #HP952 cartridge (or HP 952XL) and you observe a #Printhead #Failure or #Printer #Failure then it is possible that the internal PRINTHEAD may have a bent or #damaged contact #pin or pins. When the #cartridge is installed the cartridge's smart chip makes direct contact with the #Internal #PRINTHEAD pins, and can sometimes bend (or break) the pins if the cartridge is accidentally or forcibly installed into the carriage assembly, or if the cartridge's #electronic #chip is misaligned, etc.. To verify pin(s) condition, remove all 4 ink cartridges and using a flash light, carefully inspect the internal PRINTHEAD contact pins for visible bending, breakage or damage. Compare each row of pins when making this evaluation. Each pin should be protruding outwards as shown. If the pin is bent down, it is possible to gently pry it back up with a small screwdriver. If a pin is broken, then the PRINTHEAD will need to be replaced. Here is the link to my mega with the files included #AFJejRvwY_Nrk3v1vknWjw I received this printer from one of my customers who bought cartridges from me as well that were third party. HP occasionally updates their Officejet printers firmware at random times to prevent the use of Non Hp cartridges. Another thing to note is that if you purchase a new officejet printer it is set to default to update the firmware automatically once connected to internet. After some research I was able to find some older firmware updates that would downgrade the printer so that the cartridges could be used again.

TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 Printer Ink System Failure: --- For the #HP #OfficeJet #Pro 8630 #printer, if you observe a #missing or #failed #printhead #error then it is possible that the internal PRINTHEAD may have a bent or #damaged contact #pin or pins. When the cartridge is installed these pins make contact with the #Internal #PRINTHEAD. If there is poor electrical continuity contact between pins and the cartridge's #electronic #chip then errors such as #damaged, #failure or #missing will be displayed, in some cases a printhead failure error may be displayed. To verify pin condition, remove all 4 ink cartridges and using a flash light, carefully inspect the internal PRINTHEAD contact pins for visible damage. Each pin should be protruding outwards as shown. If the pin is bent down, it is possible to gently pry it back up with a small screwdriver. If a pin is broken, then the #HP8630 PRINTHEAD will need to be replaced. Other printer error messages which could signify a PRINTHEAD problem include “Ink Cartridge #Failure”, “Cartridge Damaged”, “Cartridges Missing” or “The following cartridges are #not #intended for use in this Printer”. ----- Note: If you have installed a refilled or aftermarket #HP950 or #HP951 ink cartridge into your HP #OfficeJet Pro #printer and observe the error message “Ink #Cartridge #Depleted”, " #Cartridges Depleted" or “ #Ink #System #Failure “, this is usually caused by one, or more, of the #HP 950/951 ink cartridges not having enough ink inside. In most cases one of the cartridges is empty but the cartridge’s electronic smart chip is telling the printer it has a full ink load. An "Ink System Failure" #error #condition is generated due to air being ingested into the printer’s internal PRINTHEAD assembly and the presence of ink is not being detected via #sensors inside the ink cartridge. Thus as a #safety precaution to protect the printer, the printer is shutdown to avoid burning out hundreds of small electronic #thermal ink #firing #nozzles inside the PRINTHEAD assembly. Remove all four #HP950 #HP951 (or #HP950XL / #HP951XL) #ink #cartridges and weigh them with a scale to help determine which cartridge has an inadequate amount of ink inside. The lightest ink cartridge, in comparison to other available full cartridges, will usually reveal the likely culprit. TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 Printing Problem, Printhead Errors: --- Following the installation of standard or high yield HP 950/951 ink cartridges into your #HP #OfficeJet Pro 8610 #Printer and you observe the "USE #SETUP #CARTRIDGES " #error message on the printer's display, typically "SETUP" #HP950 and/or #HP951 cartridges will be required to #reinitialize the printer and will not allow use of HP OEM regular or extra large tanks, 3rd party aftermarket or refilled HP original ink cartridges to function. The error may also be displayed if the #PRINTHEAD assembly is removed & replaced (i.e. #programming requirement). If the original 'SETUP' #cartridges are not available, it is possible bypass the lockout message by performing the following steps. NOTE 1: Procedures may vary depending on regional location and by printer model version / software revision. 1. Navigate to the SUPPORT MENU by pressing the Return button 4 times in a row (Note: the Return button will not be illuminated but is located at the bottom left of menu). 2. Under SUPPORT MENU, scroll down to the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION MENU. 3. At SYSTEM CONFIGURATION MENU, select OK. 4. At the TRADE OOBE MENU, select OK. 5. At the TRADE SUPPLIES DISABLED MENU, select OK. 6. HP #OEM regular, aftermarket or refilled ink cartridges may now be used in the printer. You should also inspect cartridge’s smart chip for ink residue or scratches – thoroughly clean surface with a damp cloth or towel. It is possible that a newer version of HP printer #firmware may have been installed onto your printer and the cartridge chip or chips are now #locked #out. A new chip will need to be installed.
