This video show you how to setup NETGEAR WiFi extender AC1200, Model NETGEAR EX6150 with review. This WiFi Repeater and WiFi Range Extender setup/install is done in detailed steps. You can extend you work from home wifi out to all areas of your house and eliminate those wifi dead spots. Even get the a wifi signal outside on your patio with the NETGEAR AC1200 extender. The NETGEAR extender setup allows you to connect the wifi repeater up as a wireless connection or AP Access Point via Ethernet cable to your primary wifi router/modem. This NETGEAR repeater can be setup in a few minutes so you can get a extended wifi signal out to those areas in your house where you want more gaming FPS or a better wifi connection for office work at home. Get faster wifi and faster internet where you need it with the NETGEAR wifi extender AC1200 with wifi antenna boosters. The best way to extend wifi is by using a wifi extender that repeats your wifi signal to a greater distance like the NETGEAR AC1200 wifi range extender AC1200. It's like having a wifi amplifier so you can get more wifi bars and stonger signals at greater distances from your wifi router. Some important things to remember are: 1) If your WiFi repeater is to close to your main router, they will compete against each other's signal since they are both on the same WiFi channel, 1,6, or 11. So you must distance the WiFi extender far enough away to so the channels don't overlap each other. This will only slow down your LAN/WLAN. Hence, defeating your reason for installing a Wireless-n WiFi repeater to begin with! 2) I believe in surge protectors. Put your wireless repeater on one. Think of this device more as a WiFi range extender. Some times it's also refer to as a router range extender, a repeater extender, wifi booster extender or wireless router extender. But they all just repeat your wireless signal halfway between your wifi router and where you want to set up shop. Your NETGEAR range extender expands your home WiFi network by connecting to your existing network and improving coverage. The following instructions will help you set up your extender. For newer devices, Netgear recommends setting up your extender with the Nighthawk app. For all other extenders, they recommend the following instructions. To set up your extender: Plug in your extender. The Power LED lights. If your Power LED does not light, press the Power or On/Off button. Connect your computer or mobile device to the extender's WiFi network. The extender's default WiFi network name (SSID) is NETGEAR_EXT. The extender network either has no password or the default password is password. Your device might warn you that the Internet is not available. This is to be expected. Keep the WiFi connection. Launch a web browser and enter . The New Extender Setup page displays. Click or tap NEW EXTENDER SETUP. If prompted to accept terms and conditions, click or tap YES or I AGREE. Choose your extender's admin credentials. These credentials are used to access your extender's settings on a web browser. We recommend leaving the default User Name as admin and choosing a password that is different from your WiFi network password. Select and answer two security questions from the drop-down menus. These questions are used to recover your extender's admin credentials if you forget them. Click or tap NEXT. If your extender asks if you would like to use the NETGEAR Genie to help, click or tap YES or CONTINUE. Your extender searches for local WiFi networks. Select the radio buttons for your network's and 5GHz WiFi Network Names (SSID). If you do not see your networks, click or tap See More. Click or tap NEXT. Enter your existing network's password and click or tap NEXT. Select SSIDs and passwords for your extender. By default, the extender uses the name of your existing network with _2GEXT added to the end for the band and _5GEXT for the 5GHz band. By default, the password for each band is the same as your existing network. (Optional) For mesh extenders, you have an option to use the same WiFi name and password as your existing network. Select the Enable One WiFi Name check box to enable this feature if your extender supports it. This allows your extender to use the same WiFi name (SSID) and password as your existing WiFi network. Click or tap NEXT. The extender applies your settings. This can take a few minutes. The extender displays the WiFi network name (SSID) and password for each of your extender's bands. Take note of these. On a device that you plan to connect to the extender network, go to the WiFi settings and connect to the extender's new network. Go back to your web browser, select the checkbox at the bottom of the page, and click or tap CONTINUE. Your extender is now extending your network's coverage.

To install the EX2700: Step 1:- Plug the EX2700 into a power outlet and wait for the power LED Image to become solid green. Step 2:- Use a Wi-Fi device (wireless computer, smart phone, or tablet) and connect to your extender wireless network (SSID). Note: You can also use a wired computer to install the EX2700. Use an Ethernet cable and connect it between the computer and to the EX2700 Ethernet port. Step 3:- Once the wireless client is connected to the EX2700 network (SSID), the Device LED Image will turn on. Step 4:- Open an internet browser and go to . Step 5:- Click New Extender Setup. Step 6:- Complete the Extender Setup screen and click Next. Note: This account is for your EX2700 user interface login credentials and password recovery. Step 7:- Select the Wi-Fi network that you would like to extend and click Next. Step 8. Enter the wireless network key or passphrase and click Next. Note: If you are unsure of your router/gateway wireless network password, please check with your ISP or router/gateway manufacturer. Step 9. Enter your preferred network name and security settings. Click Next to proceed to the next step. Note: To use a different wireless security type, select Use a different password and select your preferred security type. Step 10. Connect your wireless device to the EX2700’s new wireless settings and click Continue. Step 11. Your EX2700 is now configured as a wireless range extender. Click Next to proceed with the registration. Note: You can click Skip Registration in case the device is already registered. Step 12. Your extender is now setup successfully.
