Item provided by HexBug for review Here we go! I promised I would get to this set and was looking forward to trying it out on video and learning about the new flexible walls, snap together track and the new faster NANO bugs. Overall it all worked out great and it was easy to set up, once I looked at the box top and figured out how the pieces worked together. The flexible track gives a great way to build an area that lets them move around and travel in a more curved away, then on the straight track fro the original HexBugs. Dare I say the possibilities are endless now in regards curves and lengths of track. I have built many large creations only to have that one piece not match up. This will help in connecting that last section! The original plastic pieces do have a different feel to them then the new ones. I hope I was able to give you a better understanding of the speed of the HexBug Nano's by running them side by side on the same length of track. Nothing was going to slow that black Nano down! The HEXBUG Nano V2 is a tiny, micro robotic creature that uses the physics of vibration to scurry up through multiple levels of tubes, as high as the V2 set will take it, to explore its environment. The quick little critter possesses an uncanny sense of balance, capable of crawling through tubes on its feet or on its back and can pass another bug in a single tube to avoid a traffic jam. The Nano V2 will even flip to its feet when landing on its back on an open flat surface.

HexBug have released a new Nano Space range of habitat sets. In this video I review the HexBug Nano Cosmic Command set. This set contains 92 pieces that includes 2 new Nano 'Space Rangers' (batteries included). A main feature of this set is the Spaceship and command centre hexagonal room. As lots of other parts this set also has two six wheeled trucks, both with clip-on add-ons that can convert them from a transporter to scanning platform to a weapons platform. As this is the final of the three sets I also share my thought on 'what next' and even critique one aspect of this set that could have been so much more.

See the full review at There's a new habitat for Hexbug Nanos, the animatronic insects that behave like real bugs. The Hexbug Nano Raceway Habitat Set allows kids to race their Hexbug Nanos by constructing their very own customizable raceway. Turn on the Hexbug Nanos and place them at the starting gates. Through the use of hidden magnets, the Hexbugs won't move until you press the start button. This way the Hexbugs don't start racing until you're ready. The raceway comes with everything kids need to build the raceway, including starting gates, working doors, one-way doors, and working checkered flags. There are 28 pieces total. Instead of instructions, which might limit creativity, kids are simply shown how the pieces fit together so that they can assemble the set in any configuration they can imagine. The Raceway Habitat Set comes with two Hexbug Nanos. Kids can collect and connect the Raceway Habitat with other Hexbug Nano sets and accessories, which are sold separately.
