Nier Replicant ver - Обзор в деталях для ПК и PS4. Перед тем, как начать непосредственный обзор, необходимо рассказать, немного об истории Nier Replicant. Nier - игра, разработанная японской студией Cavia в 2010 году, выходила в двух версиях: Nier Replicant исключительно для японского рынка и Nier Gestalt - для всего остального мира. Обе версии были почти идентичными, за исключением протагонистов. В западной версии мы играли за Отца, взрослого мужчину у которого в родословной определенно был огромный шкаф, а в это же время японцы играли за Брата, молодого паренька. Тогда разработчики посчитали, что их соотечественникам не придется по вкусу здоровый, брутальный мужик. У обоих главных героев была одна и та же цель - спасти свою дочь или, соответственно сестру, Йону от загадочной болезни под названием Черные Каракули. Nier Replicant ver. (и дальше по списку)... впервые покажет западному рынку какой же была японская версия игры. Такой огромный номер версии не случаен - эта цифра является квадратным корнем из 1.5, что как бы говорит игрокам: "Вас ждет не ремейк и не ремастер, а что-то среднее между ними". In celebration of Nier Replicant ver ...'s 1 year anniversary I've decided to replay through and translate the story from the Japanese dialogue into English. This is my first time trying something like this but I hope this will be a first to many videos to follow. I'd like to be able to share the experience and my love for this game, and if this helps anyone in any way at all then I'll be happy. To preface, I'll be directly translating from Japanese to English as much as I can although with a few liberties. There are limitations as every word has its own weight despite some having similar meaning, and there isn't always a direct 1-to-1 translation between languages. That being said, I have made some tweaks in order to for the English dialogue to sound more natural (mostly to sentence structure) compared to actual transliteration, but with the attempt to still capture the timing of information within the Japanese dialogue. Additionally I may add a few words to try and capture the emotion of the voiced lines. I have read somewhere that although there may be a text translation, not everyone can still understand the pitch nuances of other languages they don't understand. I respect the original English version and do not wish to disservice the localization and translation team as they've done an amazing job so I'm also using the original English dialogue as reference when possible. I am simply a fan and thus believe these translations should be taken as such. I'm playing with the Japanese language setting and will be leaving the subtitles in so that if anyone else has a better suggestion then there's text readily available. Plus, this way as fans we can all work together! My Japanese is not perfect and I only have level N2 certification so any pointers will also be greatly appreciated. I'll put updates/fixes in CC when I figure that stuff out. I've placed all subtitles in by hand so following videos will take some time and I sincerely apologize for it. Anyways, enjoy. See the differences in graphics, voice acting, and combat of the original PS3 release of Nier and the remastered Nier Replicant for PS4. The original Nier released in 2010 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and while it's story is timeless, it's gameplay elements weren't that great. Nier Replicant ver. , out now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC isn't quite a remake and not quite a remaster, but rather something in between--and it's an astonishing improvement over the original version. This comparison encompasses the PS3 version of the original Nier and the PS4 version of Nier Replicant. This upgraded version of Nier Replicant uses a brand-new combat system that plays closer to Nier: Automata with features like new combo mechanics, a revamped magic system, lock-on enemy targeting, smoother player movement, higher resolution, better textures and assets, and a much smoother frame rate. And as you see in this comparison, it stars "brother Nier" instead of "father Nier." In the video above, you'll see a fight against a floating dictionary in Emil's mansion to obtain some vital information. This should help you get a taste of how these two versions differ. You'll notice that the cutscenes have been recreated one-to-one and preserve the strong overall narrative Nier was always known for, but they look much better with the visual enhancements. If you listen close enough, you may also catch that the voiceovers have been re-recorded by the original cast to give a modern edge to what were already stellar performances.
