SsangYong XLV появился в 2016 году и оказался не совсем самостоятельной моделью, а удлиненным SsangYong Tivoli. Все 235 мм прибавки в длине пришлись на задний свес. В гармонии, возможно, автомобиль не выиграл, но в объеме багажника выигрыш однозначный, + 297 литров и итоговые 720 литров объема багажника — это рекорд класса. Остальных отличий от донорского Тиволи у ХЛВ не много, мотор и коробка те же, бензиновый 1.6 л. 128 л.с. и автомат на шесть ступеней. Механики у XLV нет, как нет и дизельного мотора доступного в Европе. В каком классе играет новичок на нашем рынке? По длине он перерос компактный класс с Кретой и Каптуров во главе, но по остальным параметрам СсангЙонг ХЛВ прямой их конкурент. Чем, кроме объема багажника, может привлечь кореец? Дизайн, как всегда, у марки специфичный, взгляды на дороге ловит хорошо, но не всех захочется такого внимания. В плюсы можно записать отсутствие угонов, и в следствии этого недорогое Каско. За этим следом идут минусы: если машина не востребована на вторичном рынке, её сложно будет продать и цена продажи будет далека от желаемой. Самый простой ХЛВ стоит 1 289 000 рублей, хотите полный привод, тогда готовьте 1 579 000 рублей. Дорого? Да, это дорого, с такими ценами конкуренты у машины уже не Крета с Каптюром, а Кашкай, Х-трейл и прочие Тигуаны с Рав 4. Ssangyong Tivoli 1.6 benzină 128 CP e-XGi 4×2 DLX (english subtitle) Review 2015: motor, consum, performante, siguranta, interior, exterior, pret, pareri pro si contra. Masina pe care am avut-o noi la dispozitie a avut motorul pe benzina cu capacitate de 1.6 litri si cutia manuala cu 6 rapoarte ce transmitea cei 128 de cai putere doar catre rotile din fata. Ne-ar fi placut sa incercam si versiunea cu tractiune integrala, dar ne-am multumit cu ce am avut. Motorul este o unitate ce se infige exact cat si unde trebuie atunci cand esti intr-un trafic cum este cel din Bucuresti, gratie cuplului de 160 Nm. Masina a fost condusa in mediul urban pe durata testului nostru asa ca va trebui sa ne ghidam dupa estimarile de consum urban facute de producatorul sud-coreean. Ei spun ca varianta cu tractiune fata a acestei masini, fara a folosi sistemul Start-Stop si dotata cu cutia manuala ar trebui sa consume in oras 8.6 litri/100 km. Stim cu totii ca producatorii mint atunci cand vine vorba de aceste estimari, dar se pare ca nu si Ssangyong. Tivoli-ul nostru a avut un consum mediu de 9.0 litri/100 km. Cand vine vorba de alti producatori, pentru a afla consumul real al masinii trebuie sa mai adaugi 2 litri la consumul estimat de si in cazul sud-corenilor. Bila alba! Dupa cum am spus si in testul video, versiunea testata de noi este DLX, penultima treapta de echipare, cu un pret de pornire de de euro. Ba chiar mai mult, coreeni ofera un discount de 1000 de euro pentru aceasta versiune echipata cu motorul pe benzina. Pentru ceea ce ofera aceasta masina, pretul este mai mult decat corect si cel mai mult apreciez ca nu ma simt obligat sa cumpar un model cu o echipare mai scumpa pentru a avea tot ceea ce am nevoie. Daca sunteti in cautare de un cross-over de oras, va recomand sa treceti pe la Ssangyong si cu siguranta nu veti fi dezamagiti. Mitul calitatii germane a fost spulberat de cand cu scandalul motoarelor diesel, asa ca nu aveti ce pierde daca incercati un Tivoli. Pro: pret, calitate interioara, cutie de viteze. Light updates add safety equipment to the bargain basement small SUV - but this petrol engine is one to avoid What is it? Ssangyong is on the verge of a big new model splurge over the next three years, and its growing reputation has been helped in no small part by the Tivoli. It's a small SUV that offers a value-focused package to give pricier rivals a run for their money. It's been very lightly updated for 2017, getting some new safety equipment, which is standard on all but entry-level models, to boost its appeal. This includes lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning and autonomatic emergency braking (AEB), and Ssangyong reckons cars equipped with it will get a four-star Euro NCAP rating, up from the current three-stars. That's all well and good: four stars is par for the course in this market, and it’s another plus for a car that has all of its rivals beaten on price (if not much else). But does it do enough to make it a significantly more tempting package? What's it like? There are no mechanical changes with these latest updates, so it’s the same Tivoli from before. That means describing it involves words like 'charm' and 'value' rather than 'precision' or 'fun'. Top-spec ELX trim comes with kit including sat-nav, front and rear parking sensors and automatic lights and wipers, and it still undercuts its rivals in terms of price. There are some signs of cost-cutting, though, such as the hard plastics on the dashboard, cheap-feeling switchgear and slightly laggy infotainment system, but the disappointment is softened by the car's price. Another minor tweak inside means you can now adjust the steering wheel for reach as well as rake. There’s plenty of space for passengers inside the Tivoli, and the boot is almost the biggest in its class; it’s certainly large enough to cope with everyday family duties. However, while it scores big marks for equipment, practicality and now safety, the Tivoli isn’t great to drive. Cars in this segment haven’t set a high standard for driver appeal, but the Tivoli's steering is vague, and while the ride copes well enough over most surfaces, there’s a proper jolt through the interior when you drive over speed bumps. Most Tivoli buyers have opted for a diesel variant in the past, but given the recent bad press for oil-burners, Ssangyong has noticed a slight shift towards more petrol sales. Diesel still accounts for the majority, though. If you do want a petrol engine in your Tivoli, you’re best off waiting until a new range of engines arrive next year, because the unit we're testing here doesn’t have much going for it. It's flat anywhere in the rev band, and no matter how heavy your right foot is or how hard you wring its neck, it’s difficult to inject any sense of urgency into the acceleration. It’s not especially efficient either. All of its rivals, including the Citroën C4 Cactus and Nissan Juke, have much better petrol options. The diesel is a much better choice for the Tivoli, because it has a lot more low-rev shove, but neither option is particularly refined, with plenty of engine noise leaking inside. The six-speed manual gearbox is relatively slick, and is a better bet than the more expensive Mini-sourced automatic, which is rather lethargic in its shifts. Yet again, though, the Tivoli's price makes its shortcomings easier to accept. Even though it’s not particularly inspiring to drive, most buyers in this segment will be more concerned by how much space there is in the boot (a lot), rather than how much feedback you get from the steering on B-road blasts (not much). Should I buy one? For out-and-out value for money, the Tivoli is a great package, and its new safety systems help it match many of its competitors in the regard. It’s got plenty of room, it’s well equipped, and it costs less than all of its rivals; just don’t expect to be thrilled behind the wheel. Choosing this petrol engine is the cheapest way into a Tivoli, but we’d steer you towards the diesel alternative, even if there is a £1000 premium to pay for private buyers. Top-spec ELX trim, with all the bells and whistles that it comes with, is still good value, but if you are very frugally-minded, the best package remains mid-range EX trim. You still get features that rivals only offer in top-spec, such as dual-zone climate control and a infotainment touchscreen, and it’s around £1400 cheaper.

Think Cars of Bransgore website: The Ssangyong Tivoli is one of my favourite small crossovers/SUVs, and having driven two diesel 1.6 ELX models in the past, I thought I would try out a petrol one instead. Think Cars in Bransgore, which is in the New Forest, were kind enough to let me have a go in this very clean 2019 1.6 ELX pre-registered car, which is currently available for sale on their website. It has done about 20 miles or so, and looks very good in Grand White. In this video, I get my fingers over the lens (as usual), struggle with wind noise (no surprises there), get Tivoli trim levels mixed up, discover an interesting lack of HDMI sockets, fiddle with variable steering weight controls, complain about bungee cords on the back of the front seats and find a nice spare wheel. Nothing untoward, then!
