Upon request by many, in this DIY video im showing how you can clean the GP1 Hybrid Battery cooling fan also known as IPU module time goes the hybrid battery cooling fan tend to gather dust and debris may lead to faults and the inverter + the 110v battery will start heating up. cleaning the fan and the air ducts will prevent us from expensive replacements to a air compressor will be helpful but if not a blower or even a vacuum with a blower can be used. for tools all you need is the standard wrench set and a "Star" Allan key set. if you are trying this make sure you don't fiddle with anything else on the hybrid battery unit as it may cause problems and also have a risk of electric please be careful. *Feel free to ask any questions I’ll try my best to answer. *Please note that im not a mechanic and i do this as a hobby and i intended to do this video to help guys like me who would like to do some work on there vehicle just for the fun of it. *This tutorial is for people with least some knowledge in car mechanisms and for those who know what they are doing and i wont be responsible for any mistakes or damages caused while doing this and do it at your own risk..

You don't have to completely remove the bumper. You can leave all the bottom clips in place and just pull the bumper forward after you remove the top and side clips. Removing the whole bumper gives you nice access to the motor if you need to do a bunch of work in there like a valve adjustment... As i have noticed that there were no tutorials on replacing the CVT oil filter (aka ATF filter) in the Honda fit/jazz GP1 hybrid model, upon research i have found that this filter is not required to be changed frequently but after passing 100k kms it would be good to replace as it may have got contaminated with fine worn particles and moisture etc. I decided to make this video for those who wish to replace this by them self. its a very easy job with no special tools better to do this with a cold engine. remember to wear gloves if possible. in this video im showing how you can clean the EGR control valve in the Honda fit/jazz with IMA hybrid engine. sometimes due to usage of low octane fuel and maybe due to bad or inconsistent quality of fuel(not accusing anyone just giving reasons) the EGR valve tend to get clogged up with carbon deposits. this may cause the valve to remain open or closed without functioning properly and it will effect the engine performance, power and fuel consumption and many more issues(sometimes check engine light). furthermore i personalty noticed the dirty egr valve causes sudden lags/jerks in the GP1 when picking up at slow speed and even at the transition from EV to Engine mode at low rpm. *Feel free to ask any questions I’ll try my best to answer. *Please note that im not a mechanic and i do this as a hobby and i intended to do this video to help guys like me who would like to do some work on there vehicle just for the fun of it. *This tutorial is for people with least some knowledge in car mechanisms and for those who know what they are doing and i wont be responsible for any mistakes or damages caused while doing this and do it at your own risk..

The Honda Fit , also marketed as Honda Jazz, is a five-door B-segment supermini or subcompact car manufactured and marketed by Honda since 2001 and now in its fourth generation. The third-generation Fit/Jazz retains the overall design concept of previous generations, notably the center-located fuel tank and multi-configuration interior concept, marketed as Magic Seating. The FIT/JAZZ GP5uses an Earth Dreams Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) and an internal high-output motor, IPU (Intelligent Power Unit) with lithium-ion battery, electric servo braking system with variable servo ratio control.

Hi Everyone, in this one I'm going to be doing the 120,000km service on a 2009 Honda Jazz with the 1.3 litre L13 engine with an automatic transmission (not the CVT). I'll be covering the following items: - Engine oil change - In cabin air filter change - Spark plug change - Oil filter change - Transmission fluid change - Air filter change Items not covered but that are a part of the major service: - Brake Fluid change - Valve clearance check/adjustment If you've recently bought a jazz or you just haven't serviced yours in a while I would recommend changing and checking all the items covered here especially the transmission fluid if you are noticing any jerkiness when accelerating or stopping (could be a lurching that feels like your brakes aren't working right when stopping) or crunching when selecting a different gear (more noticeable when parked on hill and moving from P to a different gear). Hi Everyone, In this one Jazzy Jazzu's getting the first mod CARPLAY!!! I've got the budget branded name model the Sony XAV1000 that does Carplay but not Android Auto. I'm installing this the easy / lazy man's way with everything being plug and play. I've used the kit to retain the steering wheel controls from Aerpro check out their handy part selector if you're looking for plug and play: The fascia / bezel kit I ordered from eBay is available here but there are many similar like it: Since I have a stock bluetooth kit that sits on the driver's A-pillar I simply switched it off and am using the bluetooth directly with the headunit and the mic that came with it. Stock Headunit / Stereo DIAGNOSTICS Mode: 1. Car must be on 2. Stereo must be powered off 3. Press 1 and 6 4. Press 2 to 5 for the function Here's what they do: 2. Buttons test 3.
