تعمیر کمپرسور اسکرو ( bearing type)screw compressor bearing arrangement
In screw compressors, two models of bearings are used. In this film we are talking about these two models of bearing. The first bearing model used widely and also in screw compressor is the roller bearing. We open a roller bearing package to familiarize ourselves with its structure and see where the compressor is installed and what it does. This roller bearing, skf mark, is used inside the cylindrical ball bearing. This bearing model is used to withstand radial forces.
For example, the female rotor in the picture is mounting a bearing here and a bearing here. This bearing is a roller bearing. Roller bearing can withstand radial forces. But the great amount of forces available is axial. These axial forces are applied to male and female rotors. When the gas compresses from the top of the rotor to the bottom of the rotor and intends to exit the discharge port.
So a great amount of force is coming in, so these forces have to be damped. These forces are tolerated by this model of bearing. It is an angular contact ball bearing model that has axial force tolerance. We examine the structure of this bearing and the method of bearing as well. We open an angular contact ball bearing to see the components together. The first piece is the outer race. There is a shelf between the outer race and the inner race. When we assemble this bearing, as you can see, the outer race and the inner race are angular, and also the balls and the two pieces. When we assemble this bearing it has the strength to bear in one direction and therefore does not bear the force which is unfortunately sometimes seen to be incorrect when installing the bearing. When installing this bearing at the end of the rotor...
For example, in this female rotor, bearing is installed in this area. This rotor will bear the damp force in one direction. For example, the bitzer company uses two bearings that are back to back, but some companies use multiple bearings based on design and construction and can withstand forces in the opposite direction. While assembling the screw compressor it is very important to be careful with these directions and to be installed with the correct bearing.
In the following films, we show the assembly method of screw compressors. An important point about angular contact ball bearing is the degree. The angle between the outer and the inner is very important. This angle is 25, 30 and 40 degrees and is made by different companies with different angles. Another problem is the incorrect bearing selection, which may cause the bearings to fail properly and the compressor will fail very quickly, so be careful when choosing the bearing part number and properly mounting the bearing. A thrust bearing is a particular type of rotary bearing. Like other bearings they permit rotation between parts, but they are designed to support a predominately axial load.
Thrust bearings come in several varieties.
Thrust ball bearings, composed of bearing balls supported in a ring, can be used in low thrust applications where there is little axial load.
Cylindrical thrust roller bearings consist of small cylindrical rollers arranged flat with their axes pointing to the axis of the bearing. They give very good carrying capacity and are cheap, but tend to wear due to the differences in radial speed and friction which is higher than with ball bearings.
Tapered roller thrust bearings consist of small tapered rollers arranged so that their axes all converge at a point on the axis of the bearing. The length of the roller and the diameter of the wide and the narrow ends and the angle of rollers need to be carefully calculated to provide the correct taper so that each end of the roller rolls smoothly on the bearing face without skidding. These are the type most commonly used in automotive applications (to support the wheels of a motor car for example), where they are used in pairs to accommodate axial thrust in either direction, as well as radial loads. They can support greater thrust loads than the ball type due to the larger contact area, but are more expensive to manufacture.
A spherical roller thrust bearing
Spherical roller thrust bearings use asymmetrical rollers of spherical shape, rolling inside a house washer with a raceway with spherical inner shape. They can accommodate combined radial and axial loads and also accommodate misalignment of the shafts. They are often used together with radial spherical roller bearings. Spherical roller thrust bearings offer the highest load rating density of all thrust bearings.[1]
Fluid bearings, where the axial thrust is supported on a thin layer of pressurized liquid—these give low drag.
Magnetic bearings, where the axial thrust is supported on a magnetic field. This is used where very high speeds or very low drag is needed, for example the Zippy-type centrifuge. Це відео автоматично взято із YouTube за назвою товару, можливий неправильний пошук.

Bearings are mechanisms used to reduce the friction between two objects in rotary or linear motion with each other.
In this video we will see the operation of double row angular contact ball bearings, and in the videos of this playlist you will see all kinds of bearings.
Jaes, leader in the industrial supplies sector
for more than 10 years, has become the
reference partner for some of the most
important engineering companies by
providing them with every kind of bearing.
Ball bearings are among the most widely used and well-known.
As we have seen in our previous video, single-row angular contact ball bearings support combined loads, that is, they support loads in the radial directions well, but they support axial loads in one direction only, therefore they are very often used in pairs and mounted in front of each other.
However, this solution can be cumbersome, which is why the double row angular contact ball bearings were conceived.
This kind basically consists of a coupling of two single row Oblique ball, but their inner and outer rings are fused together.
This guarantees greater solidity, and they can support radial and axial loads on their own that act in both directions.
Thanks to these features this kind of bearings are often used in combination with others of different kind to give better axial support, this is why they are used in pumps, electric motors, compressors and in all industrial applications in which the shaft is subjected to combined loads.
Do you know why Single direction thrust bearings were invented? Find out in the next video.

Linear bearing for square tube - Design, test and make - using skateboard bearings and 3018 CNC
In this video, I showed you the process of me designing, testing and build a linear bearing for square tube using some really cheap ball bearings (skateboard bearings). You can modify this design if you are using different type of square tubes, different size of bearings and corresponding bolts or also different thickness of sheet or plywood to make the side plates. For heavier duty, you can make the side plate out of aluminum or steel (will be harder to make) or just increase the thickness of plywood. How to Make Anything Spin Using a Thrust Bearing - Kevin Caron
#KevinCaronArt #FabricationTips #ArtistKevinCaron
From - Artist Kevin Caron shows how he made a 215-pound sculpture spin easily using a thrust bearing ....
Kevin Caron has been getting a lot of questions about how he got his new sculpture Roundabout to spin so easily. Well, he discovered a new type of bearing.
In the past, he used flange bearings to make his sculptures, like his sculpture Gyre, spin. He would just use two flange bearings, one on the top and the other on the bottom. He had to get the two bearings perfectly lined up, which has always been one of his problems with flange bearings.
The other issue he's had is illustrated by his sculpture Moonshine, in which the bearings are buried down inside the pedestal. But they had to be buried a couple of feet deep in that pedestal because they are so big and clunky.
Then Kevin Caron discovered thrust bearings. The cool thing about thrust bearings is that they
have their own inner and outer races built into them. It also traps the needle bearings inside it. So it can spin, but not on itself.
With flange bearings, you have to bolt the bearings to the pedestal. Then it has an outer race with ball bearings and an outer race. It then twists and turns by itself, but one half is held firm.
Kevin Caron shows a different thrust bearing, which has its own races, or washers, on it for the balls to run in. So it's like an outer race, an inner race, and then a cage for the balls to run in.
That allowed him to use just one bearing on the top of the pedestal. The bearing went down over a shaft that was welded to the upper part of the sculpture. On the bottom of the sculpture, he welded another big washer - something big, heavy and flat that he cut out of plate steel with a hole saw.
Now his upper race has something to butt up against. Then he did the same thing on the pedestal side: a nice big, flat washer welded to a pipe that went down inside the pedestal.
The pipe's inside diameter is the same as the outside diameter of the shaft that is welded to the upper part of the sculpture, giving it just a little clearance.
The thrust bearing sits on top of the washer on the pedestal, then the shaft fits down inside the pipe. You put a little grease on it, then fit the shaft down into the pipe, trapping the thrust bearing with the other washer, with everything held down with gravity.
The long shaft gives stability from side to side, and the thrust bearing, which is rated to about 3,000 pounds, handles the spinning part. "It spins so beautifully," says Kevin Caron. "It's just beautiful to see."
Then, to keep the dust, dirt and weather out, he put a collar between the upper part of the sculpture and the pedestal itself where the bearing is. To grease it, someone can lift up the upper part while someone else dabs some axel or other grease on the bearing. Then you're good for another year or two.
There are different sizes of thrust bearings as well as different diameters, different thicknesses and different uses. Kevin Caron says he imagines he'll find some uses for them other than what they were intended for!
He's ready to go back to work, so viewers have a chance to visit to see more how-to videos and to subscribe to this channel to see more videos.
Well, you might want to stick around one more moment to see Kevin Caron flog a naughty metaphor ....

Working principle for a ball bearing; red dots show direction of rotation.
A 4-point angular contact ball bearing
A ball bearing for skateboard wheels with a plastic cage
Wingquist's self-aligning ball bearing
A ball bearing is a type of rolling-element bearing that uses balls to maintain the separation between the bearing races.
The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using at least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads through the balls. In most applications, one race is stationary and the other is attached to the rotating assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft). As one of the bearing races rotates it causes the balls to rotate as well. Because the balls are rolling they have a much lower coefficient of friction than if two flat surfaces were sliding against each other.
Ball bearings tend to have lower load capacity for their size than other kinds of rolling-element bearings due to the smaller contact area between the balls and races. However, they can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races. Це відео автоматично взято із YouTube за назвою товару, можливий неправильний пошук.

▶️An anti-friction ball bearing consists of the following parts:
Inner Ring – also called an inner race or cone.
Outer Ring – also called an outer race or cup.
Rolling Elements – balls or rollers.
Cage – also known as a separator or retainer. The cage separates the rolling elements evenly apart.
The inner ring usually rotates whilst the outer ring is usually stationary. Rolling elements can be either ball or roller, but the 3D animation shown in this video uses a ball bearing.
Bearings may also contain either a seal or shield. Seals prevent moisture and particle ingress, whilst also retaining the grease. Shields reduce particle ingress and form some barrier to prevent the grease escaping the internals of the bearing. Shields are usually manufactured from metal whilst seals are usually manufactured from Teflon or rubber.
Bearings may be oil or grease lubricated.

The bigger the sealed bearing's inside diameter, the faster the bike will get. The bearing's ID bigger will reduce friction. Most modern mtb/touring/road are now using sealed bearings and racing bikes equipped with sealed ceramic bearings because of their light, smooth, and gross sliding and rolling elements on all terrains. The primary ball bearings are non-sealed and work together with a cup and cone and the angle of ball bearings with a cup and cone is about 45 to 80. The ball bearings and angle wilder will increase friction

Ball Bearing Motor
The parts:
(None of the dimensions is critical. Material doesn't matter as long as it conducts electricity.)
3 M6 stainless Nuts, 1 M6 stainless Bolt (50mm long) , 2 Ball Bearings (OD: 20mm, ID: 6mm, Width:6mm, seals removed, grease removed with brake cleaner), 2 flexible isolated wires (Diameter , Length 20cm) Wires are soft soldered to outer races of the bearings.
The power supply: Old 12V Battery charger with conventional transformer.
Batteries must not be used (current way too high!!) Modern (eg. computer) power supplies are unlikely to work, as they switch off totally when short circuits are made.
Kids! Don't do this at home! Danger of burns, fire and electric shock.
Be sure you have a residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) installed. Never use mains electricity directly.
Here's an explanation of the thermal theory (which I doubt after reading Kirk T. McDonald's paper):
