In this video I deal with a common problem with Canon printers where error B200 (generic fail) appears and they stop printing. Sometimes it's enough to remove and clean the print head. In my case it wasn't. Therefore I decided to buy a new/refurbished print head on ebay from one of the many sellers offering this kind of solution. Buying a new Canon branded from 'official' channel would cost me 2 to 3 times more which is roughly the cost for a new printer. This is my second canon consumer printer with the same problem (the 1st was a pixma 4000 which I have mistakenly chucked.) The prints head is still working fine after several months/prints. If the same happens (or happened) to you I suggest to you try cleaning first. You can find lots of videos about it. My Canon IP7250 stop printing correctly and i start looking for a replacement for QY6-0082 print head. New one cost similar price to new printer so i start looking for alternatives. I found "refurbished" from Aliexpress and decided to give it a try. Results are in video, i can't judge about quality in term of printing for example pictures because i'm using fake ink cartridges, but 100% fixed my issue with blurry text and white lines in color printouts disappears and that make me happy.

TECH TIP: How to Clean Canon Integrated Ink Cartridges: If you have installed 3rd party, aftermarket or refilled ink cartridges into your #Canon #Pixma #iP7220 #printer the #ink #cartridges smart chips might not be recognized. You may observe #LOW INK or INK MAY HAVE RUN OUT error messages, along with #RED X messages or #flashing RED #lights above each #cartridge. The ink level indicator may falsely report actual ink level condition. To #BYPASS the displayed computer or printer #error messages you will need to #reset the printer to enable the new cartridges. Press OK, YES, or CLOSE to dismiss error #alerts. If the POWER or LOW INK #INDICATOR light blinks and the printer stops printing, along with displayed error #codes 1600, 1683 or 1688, do not select CANCEL #PRINTING. To RESET the printer, press the STOP/RESUME button which has a CIRCLE WITH A TRIANGLE inside, at either the Computer’s window prompt and/or on the PRINTER’S CONTROL control panel FOR 5-8 SECONDS until the LOW INK INDICATOR extinguishes, POWER LIGHT goes off and/or the printer resumes printing. After the LOW INK, EMPTY or other error messages are bypassed INK TRACKING may return to normal and printing operations may resume. Please note that INK LEVELS may appeared greyed out, this is completely normal when using aftermarket or refilled ink cartridges. CONTINUE TO PRINT until quality fades. Activate the printer’s SELF TEST or PRINT QUALITY pattern to check color output and general ink jetting performance. If poor quality is observed the ink cartridge may need to be replaced or #PRINTHEAD #CLEANING may need to be performed. White steaks or lines may be visible in #documents or #photos; sometimes general CLEANING may not be enough, a #DEEP CLEANING action may be required. Printing a couple times a week will ensure proper black and color ink jetting and overall printer performance over the life of the printer. TECH TIP: Canon Pixma iP7250 Ink Error - Printer Reset: For the #Canon #Pixma #iP7250 #printer, the internal #PRINTHEAD controls ink #nozzle firing and ejection of ink onto the paper (substrate/media) surface. The PRINTHEAD #nozzles need to remain wet so ink will properly flow from the ink cartridge, through the built-in PRINTHEAD, and out of the inkjet nozzles located within the base of the PRINTHEAD. #Ink #errors may be caused by several factors including a permanent #failure of the PRINTHEAD itself. Ensure all ink cartridges are properly & fully installed (i.e. click in place); this will prevent air ingestion into the PRINTHEAD. A Nozzle Check separates the black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink that your Canon Pixma printer uses, allowing you to easily spot missing colours or stripes in a particular colour. A mix of coloured boxes and fine detail are used allowing you to spot minor a major print quality issues.
