Star Wars wäre nicht Star Wars, gäbe es nicht die mysteriöse Macht, atemberaubende Weltraumschlachten und aberwitzige Lichtschwert-Duelle. Die Filme funktionieren aber nicht nur aufgrund dieser eher actionlastigen Inhalte so gut, sondern weil die Filme allgemein eine sehr gute Mischung haben: Action und Abenteuer, ruhigere Momente und vor allem ein unaufdringlicher Humor. Ich würde sogar behaupten, dass viele Fans gerade wegen des eigenwilligen Witzes so sehr an den Filmen hängen. Und wer sorgt in den Filmen für Humor? Genau, hauptsächlich die Droiden R2-D2, C-3PO und BB-8. Was ein Zufall, genau diese drei Berühmtheiten sind auch die Hauptdarsteller unseres Videos! Auf den ersten Blick könnte man denken, dass wir hier tatsächlich die echten Droiden aus den Filmen vor die Kamera gelinst hätten, wären sie nicht so klein. Wir sprechen von einem Sammlerfiguren-Set des japanischen Herstellers Kotobukiya, das im Maßstab 1:10 gehalten ist. Davon abgesehen schauen R2, 3PO und BB-8 aber tatsächlich genau aus wie in der Vorlage! Geliefert werden die Droiden mit einer magnetischen Base, am besten gefällt mir aber, dass man die drei in unterschiedlichen Posen präsentieren kann. Insbesondere R2 – der aus unerfindlichen Gründen der Favorit vieler Fans ist, obwohl 3PO ganz offensichtlich viel witziger ist – ist trotz seines strikt geformten Körpers ziemlich beweglich.
