Best method, modify the cartridge to Continuous ink supply system. 2: You work with 2 or more sets of cartridges. That means when one cartridge has been printed empty, You need another refilled cartridge to go on printing as the serial number of the previous cartridge is saved in the printer. When the next cartridge is empty the serial number of the previous cartridge is overwritten and You can use it again in Your printer.

TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet 6600 Ink Cartridge Problem: --- If you have installed a refilled or aftermarket HP 932 or 933 ink cartridge into your HP OfficeJet 6600 Printer (#HP6600) and observe the printer error message “ Ink #Cartridges #Depleted " or " Depleted #Ink #Cartridge ", this is typically caused by one, or more, of the ink #cartridges not having enough ink inside. In most cases one of the cartridges is #empty but the cartridge’s electronic smart chip is telling the #HP #OfficeJet 6600 #printer it has a full or partially full ink load. Note: You may also observe the printer alert: “There is a problem with the ink system” or “ #Ink #System #Failure with this same error condition. The respective #ink #system #failure #error or #printer #shutdown #condition is generated due to air being ingested into the printer’s internal PRINTHEAD assembly and the presence of ink is not being #detected via #sensors inside the ink cartridge. Thus as a #safety precaution to protect the printer, the printer is shutdown to avoid burning out hundreds of small electronic #thermal ink #firing #nozzles inside the #HP #PRINTHEAD assembly. Remove all four #HP932 and #HP933 (or #HP932XL, #HP933XL) #ink #cartridges and weigh them with a scale to help determine which cartridge has an inadequate amount of ink inside (i.e. compare like cartridges against each other). The lightest ink cartridge, in comparison to other available full cartridges, will usually reveal the likely culprit. TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet 6100 (N611a) Ink System Failure, Printhead Problem: --- For the HP OfficeJet 6100 printer (#HP6100 N611a model), if you have installed a new HP932 or HP933 standard ink cartridge (or HP 932XL, 933XL high capacity ink cartridge) and you observe a #Cartridges #Problem or #Depleted, #Missing or #Damaged #Ink #Error on your #HP #OfficeJet 6100 #printer then it is possible that the internal PRINTHEAD may have a bent or #damaged #electrical #contact #pin or pins. When the cartridge is installed these pins make contact with the #Internal #PRINTHEAD. To verify pin condition, remove all 4 ink cartridges and using a flash light, carefully inspect the internal PRINTHEAD contact pins for visible damage. Each pin should be protruding outwards as shown. If the pin is bent down, it is possible to gently pry it back up with a small screwdriver. If a pin is broken, then the PRINTHEAD will need to be replaced. TECH TIP: Is HP Instant Ink A Good Deal or Not: --- If you observe an HP #OfficeJet #Printhead #Failed #Error message on your A4/A3 series #inkjet printer (...which uses HP 932 / 932XL black & HP 933 / HP933 colour ink cartridges), then it is very possible that the internal #electronic PRINTHEAD may have a bent or #damaged contact #pin or pins. When the #HP #cartridge is installed these pins make contact with the #Internal #PRINTHEAD. If there is poor #electrical #continuity contact between pins and the cartridge's #electronic #chip then errors such as #damaged, #failure or #missing will be displayed, in some cases a printhead failure error may be displayed. To verify pin condition, remove all 4 ink cartridges and using a flash light, carefully inspect the internal PRINTHEAD contact pins for visible #damage. Always ensure the ‘Cartridge Protection’ feature is turned OFF or DISABLED on your HP printer. You will need to disable this setting on your HP #inkjet printer to avoid future #ink #cartridges #lockout; the easiest method to #disable cartridge #protection is to #restore the printer to it’s #Factory #Default #Settings which can be achieved via the printer’s control panel display buttons (or via printer driver software menu). Depending on your exact #HP #printer model version, the following steps may vary slightly but will generally be similar. 1) On the printer’s control panel display (or printer driver software on computer) either select Setup – Tools, or Setup – Printer Maintenance. 2) Scroll down to select Restore Factory Defaults. 3) Once selected the Restore Factory Defaults window will prompt a warning. Click Yes or Continue to proceed with Restore Factory Defaults. 4) After clicking Yes or Continue the printer will proceed to restore factory defaults and restart automatically. 5) The ‘Protected Cartridge’ feature is now disabled.
