The Firecuda 530 2TB SSD NVMe drive is fast. I mean super fast. The drive hit over 7000MB/s on the read and close to 7000MB/s on the write. So I can't complain on the speed. However, I had some issues in day three and it looks like a caching issue with the Firecude 530. Again, my workflow is transferring big data between the drives. I have 2 SN850 1TB drives and a 2TB SN850. There have never been any caching issues. So the addition of this Seagate Firecude 530 2TB would work well in the workflow. So we had to test it out and see the results before keeping it. After transferring massive data there were some major issues where on day three we saw a big issue with the write. I will be redoing more tests after I format the computer and make sure the tests are done to spec. Hopefully it isn't a drive issue or a caching issue. I'm really loving the drive otherwise. Seagate Firecuda 520 NVMe SSD Cyberpunk 2077 LIMITED EDITION - Price, specs, detail | First Contact Seagate recently has introduced a limited edition of the FireCuda 520 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD dedicated to Cyberpunk 2077. Seagate has planned to produce only 2077 units for this SSD drive. It is characterized by a striking neon yellow heatsink on which the Cyberpunk 2077 logo is displayed. It's made of aluminum and features addressable 5 V RGB lighting. According to Seagate, this large heatsink is able to reduce temperatures up to 22°C or 71°F. The FireCuda 520 Cyberpunk 2077 measures of lenght, of width and of hight with the heatsink. Due due to its size there could be mounting issues on some motherboards. The drive comes only in 1 TB capacity and features the same Phison PS5016-E16 SSD controller paired with Toshiba 96L TLC NAND as the normal FireCuda 520. The SSD also features the same performance numbers of the normal FireCuda 520 with advertised read and write speeds up to 5,000 MBps and 4,400 MBps respectively and endurance rated at 1,800 TBW. The Firecuda 520 Cyberpunk 2077 has a 5-year warranty and is now available to buy from retailers worldwide with prices ranging from $ 280 USD - 310 USD. This price is $190 USD more than the normal Seagate FireCuda 520 1 TB, so it is really expansive, even for a limited edition. In conclusion, I recommend it if you are a fan of CdProject; but if you're not one of these, then buy the regular Firecuda 520 or any other high-performance SSD, like the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus, and use the saved money for fun. I am upgrading my Alienware X17 R1 with a Gen 4 Seagate FireCuda 520. I haven't been able to confirm which SSD Slot is the Gen 4 slot when reading the owner manual or service manual. It only says the bays will take a Gen 3 SSD up to 1TB and a Gen 4 SSD up to 2TB. But it does not specify if one bay is limited to one or the other. So, I will be uploading mine to the Slot 2 and testing that one. @AlienwareChannel Could you confirm this for us?
