This is a tutorial on how to remove the stock heatsink on a CORSAIR M.2 NVMe SSD such as the MP600, MP600 CORE, MP600 PRO, and MP600 PRO XT in case you wish to install your SSD in a motherboard with onboard cooling, an external enclosure with adequate cooling, or a game console (which may require a low-profile heatsink). In this video I'm showing you how to install and setup the Corsair MP600 GS NVMe SSD. With the things you need to know regarding installing it on the motherboard, then settings you need to tweak in the BIOS and in Windows in order to get it to recognise the drive so you can use it. I'd also recommend using Crystal Diskmark to test the speed to make sure it's running as it should and I'll show you how to do that here too. The Corsair MP600 Core is the latest consumer PCIe Gen4, QLC SSD. This particular drive comes in an M.2 (2280) form factor and up to 4TB in capacity. PCIe Gen4 brings higher levels of performance while QLC tends to bring it down. The Corsair MP600 Core tries to bring benefits of both technologies under one roof and does a fairly good job. The Corsair MP600 Pro is an M.2 SSD aimed at delivering high performance. While it looks near identical to the Corsair MP600 Core, the Pro leverages TLC NAND versus the Core’s QLC for higher performance and good endurance. The drive comes in capacities of 1TB and 2TB and, like the MP600 Core, it comes with a large heat spreader that limits where it can be installed. There is also a liquid-cooled, Hydro X version for those that need optimal performance over time. The Corsair MP600 Pro is an M.2 SSD that delivers decent performance overall and really shined in two of our tests. The MP600 was one of the first Phison E16 SSDs to arrive on the scene and it made quite the mark! This new revision of the Corsair MP600 embraces some physical differences in the heatsink (changing the rather beefy PC targetted H/S), but for the most part is the same SSD, with the same architecture as the MP600 that came before it. That said, with the boost in SSD deployment in PS5 consoles around the world, the move by the brand to make their flagship prosumer SSD more accessible to that market makes a lot of sense. buying a fast nvme m.2 ssd can also mean ur getting one with a heatsink already fitted if u have a mobo that has its own specified heatsink for a nvme m.2 ssd then u will need to remove the applied factory heatsink so u can install a plain m.2 ssd into your mobos m.2 slot as shown in video on my aorus z690 ultra mobo in this case I was using a corsair mp600 core and needed to remove the supplied heatsink so I could install it in my mobo using my mobos supplied heatsink hope this helps

Hi. The storage size on the Playstation 5 is not the biggest and with games sometimes taking more than 100GB in size you quickly run out of space after some time. That's why it's amazing that Sony went for m.2 SSD drives for user upgrading the storage. This fall, a software update finally made this possible and after doing some research myself I decided to get (according to Sonys spec. requirements) an INCOMPATIBLE m.2 SSD drive, the Corsair Force Series MP600 Gen. 4 1TB. In this video, I'm upgrading the PS5 storage using this drive and I'm testing out four games to see if there's a difference in loading speeds and performance between the internal SSD and the Corsair MP600 1TB SSD.
