I use an empty HDD slot and a SATA adapter. (Steps start at 2:50mins if you want to jump ahead.) * Note: You can also use a 2.5 inch SATA SSD drive - if you do this you don't need an adapter and M.2 SSD drive to do the upgrade. Otherwise the process would be the same (just leave out the steps with the adapter). Equipment: Asus VivoBook S15 S510UN, 8265NGW (8GB RAM, 500GB SSD only), 2019 model Samsung Evo 860 SATA M.2 250GB SSD drive StarTech M.2 NGFF SSD to 2.5 in SATA SSD adapter (SAT32M255) - many other cheap, compatible brands are available Xenta Precision Toolset (UK) Optional: 8GB RAM - SK Hynix HMA81GS6AFR8N-UH Non ECC PC4-19200 2400Mhz 8GB DDR4 Sodimm Laptop Memory (installed before video recorded, if you want to upgrade RAM too) I use an Asus VivoBook in this guide but other models can also be upgraded in this way. You don't have to be using this specific equipment so long as the SSD drive, SATA adapter and your laptop are compatible with each other, and you have a free HDD SATA slot. Сегодня пойдёт разговор об очень полезном переходника для любого ноутбука. Приходит время, когда нам уже не хватает той внутренней памяти в ноутуке и системный диск уже забит файлами на максимум, что-же тогда делать? Есть просто решение заменить CD\DVD привод ноутбука или нетбука на так званый карман или Optibay - переходник с Sata на Sata, который позволит нам установить второй жесткий диск (HDD) или твердотельный (SSD). Благодаря такому решению мы увеличим память вашего ноутбука и при это ничего не потеряем, или кто-то еще пользуется устаревшими дисками? Думаю нет. В этом ролике я наглядно показал пример, заказанный на Алиэкспресс - кедди для своего ноутбука Dell Latitude E6410, на страничке есть модельный ряд и других устройств E и M серии, а если у Вас другой ноутбука, просто узнайте в характеристиках или документации к нему, какой толщины подойдет Вам карман и ищите нужный на Aliexpress, благо выбор там очень обширный. Для таких карманов не требуется никаких драйверов, бедь внутри нету никаких микросхем и контроллеров, просто обыкновенна механика с сата на сата для удобного использования в старых и новых ноутбуках. Горячая замена позволяет прямо во включенном компьютере заменять 2.5 дюймовые диски при необходимости. Есть даже небольшой зеленый индикатор активности HDD, конкретно в этой модели, которую я показал в ролике. Советую к покупке такую нужную штуку для любого ноута, ведь много памяти никогда не бывает, а внешние USB диски не всегда удобно таскать с собой.
