This Sigma 70-200mm sport lens was arguably the most anticipated lens announce in 2018. It’s large aperture of f/2.8 combined with high optical quality and durable design makes it highly sought after. It has a sturdy body crafted from magnesium alloy as well as dust and splash proof coating throughout the barrel and front elements. Using 9 FLD and 1 SLD glass elements that are designed to Minimize Flare and Ghosting. The Sigma 70-200mm comes with an arca swiss mount that can slide on and off a tripod quickly without being mounted to a metal plate. It also has a rotating barrel with 90 degree click and 3 programmable buttons on the side of the barrel. This lens has two OS modes that are controlled with a switch on the side of the barrel. Mode 1 is good for general photography. Mode 2 is designed for panning. This preset insures your subject’s movements are captured without losing panning effects, regardless of the lens’s position or the direction you’re moving. This is thanks to the lens’s built-in image stabilization function. The Sigma 70-200mm also has a Hyper Sonic Motor with an improved algorithm and MO switch. makes this a great sports lens; allowing for high-speed, precision autofocus so you can capture quick movements without any blurring. Right now it’s on pre-order for Nikon, Canon and Sigma mounts. While it can be adapted with the MC-11 for Sony, I had a hard time getting it to focus continuously with video. If you’re in the same position, I’d recommend holding off until the E-mount version comes out or a firmware update is released. This is the third and final addition to what Sigma refers to as “The Big Three F2.8 Zoom” lenses that can cover focal lengths from 12mm to 200mm. It is available now at at a price of just $1,. Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports in 2021! I have been shooting with the sigma 70-200 for a bit over a year now and honestly it has been a great lens. The aperture of f2.8 is real nice and thanks to its OS (image stabilization) its great for sports and other fast photography. And on top of that the sigma lens has been a lot of fun to use for landscapes as well. Check out the lens here! I can definitely recommend this sigma 70-200mm f2.8 lens for a lot of people in 2021 and i think it is a great option to its competitors. This lens is a beast! Get it here: The new Sigma 70-200 F2.8 Sports lens has been eagerly awaited. At least for me, anyway! Having moved to the full frame Canon Eos-R for my photography needs (and some video), coupled with the fact that I use the GH5 with .64x Speedbooster then getting this lens was a good idea. It weighs quite a bit and it's a serious lump of glass but if you don't mind that well then, I assure you, the results will be worth it. I've only used it twice really since getting it but I like what I see so far. The lens is super sharp and the image stabilisation works a treat. I can't say a whole lot more really until I try it but so far, I'm glad I picked it up. As far as this video goes, I was working against the elements with very strong wind and rain imminent. It was still worth it to unbox the lens though. The second half of the video may be more interesting as it shows me using the lens. In this video I review the Sigma 70-200mm sport adapted lens. I adapt this lens to my sony a7iii and my cinema camera Zcam E2 M4. The Sigma 70-200mm works great for photography even when adapted to the sony a7iii with the sigma mc-11 adapter. Main problem is its weight 😅. In video mode, the weight helps with stabilization. Main problem here is the stiffness in the focus and zoom rings. The sports in the namee is well deserved though. This video was shot with the Zcam E2 M4 with the Tamron 24-70 f2.8 g2 lens. 안녕하세요. 넬입니다 : ) 영상 보실 때쯤 대부분 출근길이 아닐까 생각해보네요 ㅎ 얼마 전에 시그마에서 새롭게 출시한 SPORTS 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM 렌즈 리뷰를 준비했습니다. 망원렌즈를 좋아하는 저로서는 참 흥미로운 리뷰였는데요. 가장 인상적인 부분은 광학 손떨림 보정 (OS) 기능이었습니다. 그 외 선예도 또한 매우 좋았고요. 그동안 사용해봤던 70-200 F2.8 라인에서 가장 만족도가 높았던 렌즈였습니다. 너무 완벽해서 입문자도 쉽게 좋은 이미지를 담아낼 수 있지 않을까 생각해보네요.
