South bend pinion shaft repair. In this video I go over how I temporarily fixed a hand wheel pinion shaft on a south bend heavy 10. I used Devcon 10110 steel putty to make this repair. I first cut the shaft down 40 thousands or so between centers, then threaded it. Next step was to apply the putty, turn it down, then we were good to go.
