Oh man, I thought my de-soldering repair on the DO435 PLC module in the CP Bourg 3002 perfect binder was bad but it just ended up being a short in the wiring harness. That wire has been moved back and forth nearly 1 million times so I guess its allowed to break. Easy fix and we are back up and running, hopefully this is it for awhile now. You'll have to let me know if you think its time to upgrade machines or I can get a few more years out of it. Will be changing the upper fusing/fixing roller on the Konica Minolta 1200PRO next week. As well as doing some work on the c1070. Thanks for watching!

In this video we look at how relays work, why they are a good idea, and how to install them in your vehicle. This is the same concept regardless of what make you have if the vehicle is old enough. Most manufacturers did not use a relay for the headlights up until very recently. I used a Daniel Stern relay kit for this installation which went very smoothly. It was really nice to have everything necessary to get the job done in one purchase off of the internet rather than having to hunt down individual parts. Here is a link to the Daniel Stern website: If you want to save a few bucks you can buy your own components since you'll have to install everything yourself anyway. LED lights can be added to their vehicle lighting system. Many fans also like to make changes themselves. When they do changes, they always encounter a big problem - how to connect light up? Some may just directly prolong the wiring of the light and connected to an electrical system of the vehicle. This may be a way to solve this problem, but they may ignore the potential danger that may occur. The best way to deal with the problems we mentioned above is to add some light harness. Wiring harness assembly is not difficult, but some people do not know which line to go. The following video will teach you how to install the relay harness of LED work lights, LED driving lights, LED light bars or other LED application products. In this video, we will connect the Auxbeam 7 inch LED light bar. Before we get started, there are two components in the bundle trunk group, the actual relays and switches. So, when you remove the tie tied everything together, you will see a very long wire. Now, all the wires apart, you can see the switch on the left side, and the relay on the right, you'll know which lines to go. So, to start, we will first connect LED light bar. For relays, the black wire is connected to the battery negative; the red line is connected to battery positive. It should be connected like these. Then connect to the ACC, the red line also goes to battery positive, black wire to battery negative. Finally, it should be installed like this. If you see the LED on the switch is red, which means that the wiring is successful. Press the button, LED indicator lights up green, you led lights will light up as well. Very simple repair here. Purchase the upper fixing roller (A0G6730411) and swap them. Have fun fixing your own printer/fusing unit. This roller also comes in the 2 million PM kit. That kit comes with all kinds of goodies! The cleaning web comes in the 750k PM kit, more of that in the near future. This same technique can be used for Konica Minolta bizhub PRO 1200P, 1051, 1250, 1052, 2250.

I don't know if I did this the right way, but it worked for me. Bought a generic drum off ebay. Did take a bit of time, but should be worth it for a savings of over $200 per drum unit. I will update this post after the drum wears out. The OEM Konica Drum will yield 410,000 clicks. We will see how long this drum lasts. The same drum and process can be used in Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C1060, C1070, C1070P, AccurioPress C2060, C2070P, C2070, C3070, C3080.

Been busy running the new to me Konica Minolta C1070. I'm thrilled with the machine time will tell how good of an investment it was. Laminating booklet covers. There is more static on the c1070 than the 3070. I'll experiment with fixing that. Was pleasantly surprised to hear Koncia cancel my service agreement. Lots of exciting stuff happening and Rosback perforating in the near future! See you all next week.

Complete Kit In this video, we install the new Morimoto Elite HID system on a 2013 Ford Fusion using our 3Five ballasts, XB35 H11 5000K bulbs and heavy-duty relay harnesses or optional standalone Canbus relay harnesses. Kits feature all the necessary parts and components, including bolts and screws that are used to attach the bracket to the ballasts for optimal heat management and grounding. There is also a tester that comes with the kit that is used to check the ballasts during installation. Key Steps The first step to learning how to install HID kits with a relay harness is removing the bumper to gain access to the headlights. Next, you’ll need to determine the type of headlight housings you’re working with and if you’re going to have to modify the caps on the back of the unit. If so, you’ll need to drill a small hole in the cap so the relay harnesses can pass through to the ballast when sealed. Wiring Harnesses A lot of customers ask us, “Do I need a relay harness for my HID kit?” Our answer is an emphatic yes! The relay harness is responsible for precision power and signal delivery to the new components you are installing. It can also help eliminate flickering and bypass “bulb out” warnings caused by Canbus systems. Installation process of a digital printing press. This is a Konica Minolta C1070 printer in my print shop. If you attempt your own electrical work, make sure you use the correct, breaker amp and wire gauge for the machine. This location was already wired from the previous C8000 press. This press has a high capacity paper feeder, main print engine, external Fiery IC-415, relay unit, receding stacker with booklet maker. Its the perfect setup for a small print shop. A stressful few days as I pull my hair out tracking down a burned up transistor on the CP Bourg 3002 Perfect binder. So many electronic boards can be repaired instead of replaced but it takes time, which can be costly. Both repairing and replacing works, I like the journey of learning how something works so I can find the bad component. Thought the problem was an over-heating solenoid, turned out that the solenoid was over-heating because of a faulty $2 MOSFET, easy fix once I found the bad part. Fascinating!
