В сетевом контроллере реализована технология "FLOW CONTROL", которая позволяет управлять потоком передачи данных в компьютерных сетях, благодаря механизму, который притормаживает передатчик данных при неготовности приемника, тем самым, снижая потерю информации и обеспечивая сохранность данных. Для минимализации потребления устройством энергии имеется опция энергосбережение платы. Одной из самых интересных функций сетевого адаптера является технология «WAKE–ON–LAN». Благодаря ей можно удаленно включить компьютер при помощи специальной последовательности байтов – пакетов данных, путем их отправки через локальную сеть. В комплект поставки сетевого адаптера входят аж две инструкции по быстрой установке с подробным описанием процесса инсталляции. Руководство по безопасному использованию адаптера, гарантийный талон на устройство, драйвера на установочном диске, низкопрофильная планка для установки адаптера в маленькие корпусы и собственно сам сетевой адаптер TG–3468, упакованный в антистатический пакет. Адаптер имеет стандартное исполнение. Токопроводящие дорожки на печатной плате без вмятин, царапин и трещин, SMD–компоненты припаяны ровно с равномерным распределением припоя на контактных поверхностях. Сверху и снизу платы отсутствуют пятна флюса. Монтажная планка изготовлена из толстого металла и надежно закреплена на плате при помощи двух винтов. Планку, при необходимости, можно поменять на низкопрофильную, которая входит в комплектацию адаптера. Благодаря такой замене сетевой контроллер можно устанавливать в корпусы маленьких размеров. На планке имеется светодиод индикации работы адаптера и порт RJ–45 для подключения Ethernet–го патчкорда категорий 5 и 5е. Я приобрел свежий вариант сетевой карты версии 4.0, которая отличается от версии 3.0 тем, что в версии 4.0 на крепежной планке имеется один светодиод, индицирующий состояние устройства "STATUS" вместо трех как в версии 3.0. Адаптер поддерживает все новые стандарты проводной передачи данных. Установка гигабитного сетевого контроллера–проста. На программном уровне сетевая карта поддерживается всеми современными операционными системами, начиная с Windows XP и закачивая десяткой. В заключение следует сказать, что сетевая карта фирмы TP–Link TG–3468 достойно показала себя в тестах. Адаптер от TP–Link порадовал качеством сборки. Производитель предусмотрел монтажную планку для установки сетевой карты в маленькие корпусы. Процесс установки сетевой карты не требует специальных знаний и навыков. Всё очень просто как раз, два, три. Распаковал адаптер, вставил его в слот шины PCI, установил драйвера, идущие на диске или скачать из сети Интернет, с официального сайта производителя, и наслаждаться работой.
