TOOK ABOUT 3-4 HOURS TO ASSEMBLE. I worked on the less heavier parts, towers, windows, tunnels that just require screws and drilling. My dad helped with the rest which required using a ratchet/ wrench and deep socket. -SHIPPING WASN'T TOO LONG. A DELIVERY COMPANY CALLS FOR DAY OF DELIVERY. IT CAME IN TWO HUGE BOXES TOTAL OF 200 POUNDS. **IT WAS MISSING A THICKER WASHER FOR THE RAILS, BUT IT WASN'T A BIG DEAL. IT WAS STILL SAFE AND SECURE. ALSO WE LEFT ONE SLOT ON THE BOTTOM TUNNEL WITH NO BOLTS ( IT WAS SECURE ENOUGH SO NO NEED)** -OVERALL AMAZING PRODUCT - MOST OF THE PRODUCTS MY DAUGHTER USES ARE FROM STEP2 COMPANY. First, the box is huge! We have a basic 4 door sedan and there is no way this would fit in our car, but an employee was able to assist us in taking the parts out of the box and we were ultimately able to fit all the pieces in our trunk and back seat. Second, the assembly was super easy and can be easily accomplished by 1 person, and took me about 20-30 minutes to put together; really it just requires the pieces to be snapped together and then requires 4 long screws. Third, it is super compact, we have ours on our patio with plenty of room for a table and chairs and our grill; I also think we should be able to bring it inside when it gets cold. We bought this for my toddler's 2nd birthday and I think it is the perfect size for him now and for the next few years. Cons: the slide and ladder we pretty difficult to snap in because you have to tilt it the right way and snap them in. Like other posters have said, you NEED a power screw driver for the screws because the holes are not pre-drilled and you are screwing into plastic. The platform bowes a little bit when my 30 lb toddler stands on it, which I will keep an eye on. Lastly, one of the wheels middle hole was too small and wouldn't connect to the wall; I was able to take a steak knife and shave it a little so it was able to connect. Overall, it is a pretty good deal for a toddler play area and is super easy to put together! It took me total around 4 hours to finish everything. I did it with just myself. The fours include leveling, flooring (w/ rubber mulch), adding sand to the parts, assemble and clean up. The parts by itself feels a bit flimsy yes because they are hollow inside. However they all have caps so that you can open it up and fill in water or sand to add the weight. I filled the base piece about half with sand (around 60 -70 lbs) Then it works out perfectly. My 2 year old daughter went nuts when she saw this in the backyard. It's small enough for our small backyard but big enough for our 2 year old and the baby on the way. I'm a happy Dad."

Always follow the instructions to the letter to avoid complications. This playground belonged to another family, but their kids are now to big for it. They were so kind in giving it to my son and I'm so grateful. To facilitate the rebuild and because some bolts were very rusty, as I took it apart to bring it here I didn't separate all of the pieces. Enjoy

This is a video review done by the kids of their Step 2 Skyward Summit. It has to be one of the coolest toys a kid could own. We got this toy from our Great Grandpa. The toy is meant for kids aged 4-8 (all 4 of our big kids are within that bracket), but we have had older and younger friends over to play and they have all enjoyed our Mountain. Although it's only a few large pieces, it actually took a little more effort to put this together than we had anticipated. It is very difficult to attach the rope ladder. There is no give in the rope, so stretching it is not an option. We ended up removing the bar along the bottom so we could push the plastic a bit to get the rope ladder to attach. After the rope ladder is attached to the blue side pieces, you are supposed to use a couple washers and a long screw to attach the top of the net from the inside by the landing zone to the outside of the green and orange pieces. Even when removing the washers, there just was no way we could get all of the screws in place. We finally gave up after over an hour of trying and let the kids play on it without the rope ladder on one side. The next day, we went to the hardware store and got a longer screw in order to finish the project. One thing I noticed while researching this toy online was that in all of the images, it appears to be a square. The base of the toy is in fact a rectangle. The blue sides are longer than the orange and green ones. Also, in the online images, I couldn't tell that there was the landing zone in the center of the toy. It makes sense to have it there so they don't fall 7 feet down when they go through the hole in the top of the purple part. It's kind of a trampoline-like material. The kids LOVE this toy.
