Hey, everyone. After putting together the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, the NZXT G12 and the NZXT X41 we fit it into our new primary Ryzen system. We'll be taking a look to see how the temps are when gaming inside the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX case. Due to the case not having good airflow we are reducing the power limit and temp limit in MSI Afterburner. Games we will be testing are CS:GO and PUBG. Resolution at 2560 x 1440, 60Hz, V-Sync disabled. Ultra / highest presets for each game. lut ! apres avoir vendu ma 2080s et en attente d une 3080, vu les dispos, j ai pris une carte de secour une petite 1660ti qui chauffait à pret de 79 degres pour 1830 mhz en boost... comme j avais un kraken g12 et un aio 360mm nzxt x72 sur ma 2080s, je l ai adapté vite fait pour le mettre sur la 1660ti (juste par curiosite...) j avais 2h à tuer... photo 1 1660ti ventus oc 6gb demontee, rien de bien difficile... à noté qu une fois le rad des vrm devissé, j ai constaté qu il etait collé, donc pas de modif à faire pour laisser le rad... photo 3 on peut voir par rapport à l emplacement du ventilateur du kraken g12 que les vrm sont du mauvais coté ! on verra si ca chauffe 😅 photo 4 les fixations prevues dans le kraken n ont pas le bon entraxe pour se fixer sur la carte! photo 5 à l aide d un dremel j ai recoupé les supports pour qu à l avenir je puisse monté ce kraken sur toutes mes cartes, j ai coupé les supports amd et gardé les nvidia d origine. les gouts et les couleurs mais amd 😓... quand t as goute à un kraken tu demontes toutes tes cartes apres 🤣. photos 6 7 8 9 fixations coupees et montees photo 10 comme les entraxes ne sont pas bons, j ai legerement agrandi les trous de la plaque de 0,5mm par trou environ avec une petite fraise... de mon dremel. photos 12 13 14 15 kraken monté avec de la thermal grizzly. photo 21 petite photo du coin de ma tv 4k pour les temp et la frequence. 2100mhz pour 34 degres photo 22 apres un bench 3dmark firestrike 1080p temp max 35 degres freq max 2115mhz photo 23 pour la ventilation: j ai 1 ventilo de 200 en facade et comme mes 2 aio 360mm sont en push pull j ai 12 ventilos qui soufflent dans le boitier un de 140 en extraction à l arriere et 1 de 200mm en extraction à l avant. tout ca pour dire qu il y a un peu d air qui arrive sur les vrm... et la temperature max enregistrée sur les vrm apres 20mn de msi kombustor en 4k, a ete de 56,3 degres. donc un kraken g12 peut se monter sur une 1660ti moyennant 2 ou 3 petites bidouilles... je ne suis ni youtubeur ni quoique ce soit d autre, comme je ne trouvais rien sur cette petite carte et le kraken g12, je me suis dit que ca pourrait servir à quelques personnes...

The temp with the cooler installed in my CM H500P Mesh with all the panels in place and no fans at top but added only one 140 mm fan Deepcool CF140 above the aio cooler in front. The aio is pulling air from outside. First temp probe is around the front case, the other is right on the GPU vrm zone. With the stock Ichill cooler it was hitting 80 degrees. With the fans and maximum it gets to 35 degrees but pretty noisy. If using 80% rpm the temp stays at around 42 degrees which is a very good compromise.
