A great little device to help convert Analog to digital. I can see many different reasons to use this, but for me, it will mainly be there to help me on old camcorder tape capture nights!! Yeah, call me sad! I was disappointed that a coax cable wasn't thrown in. And I had to cut a chunk of the video out as I wasn't happy that there was no power light on the back of the device like every other small factor converter out there... then I noticed after filming that there is a power light but it's on the top not the back like the others. I say, if everyone else puts it on the back there is a reason. Yeah, that's where we, technicians look! So I can imagine during a live event if I lost sound I would be frantically checking everything as quickly as possible. I would have to remember that this one item has its power on top. To me a silly place to put the light as if it's part of a setup it would probably be slid down the side of something due to its small size. But this might just be me... I did find myself playing with it after I filmed it and I can see lots of combos with other devices. All in all, a great build at a high quality... I just don't like the power light placement. I hooked this up to a device in a previous video and had a play, finding some fun combos and different ways of splitting and converting signals. (I did not film this as it was just me playing, but if people want more on converting signals, drop a message below!!! (Video - PROZOR Digital to Analog Converter - - They combine really well). La mayoría de televisores actuales ya no ofrecen salidas de audio analógicas, sino digitales, ya sean de tipo óptico o coaxial. Una de las ventajas del dominio digital es que podemos transportar varios canales de audio por un único cable. En el caso de la salida óptica, necesitamos un cable de fibra óptica plástica llamado Toslink. En el caso de la salida coaxial, necesitamos un cable de dos hilos (vivo y malla) con conector RCA. El problema de estas salidas digitales es que no las podemos conectar directamente a un equipo de sonido analógico, como una minicadena. De hecho, en analógico, necesitamos un cable independiente para transportar cada canal de audio. Por tanto, para poder conectar ambos equipos, necesitamos un conversor de audio digital a analógico llamado DAC (DIGITAL-TO-ANALOG CONVERTER).
