hey guys so here is a closer look at installing a 12th gen cpu steps located tabs and triangle on cpu press lever and release the first clip now pull back on second lever install cpu by holding the cpu on the sides , not top and bottom place cpu in gently . do not drop it in then slowly lower the 2nd lever , the cover will pop off now . thats ok now ensure the first lever clips over the top of the 2nd lever's tab then just pull the first leevr down and push it under the securing tab thats it cpu installed

DeepCool, a global brand and manufacturer of computer hardware and peripherals for enthusiasts, today announced that it will provide free-of-charge mounting kits for Intel's upcoming LGA1700 platform, enabling customers to continue using their existing DeepCool CPU coolers on the new 12th generation Intel Core CPUs (Alder Lake S). Additionally, current and future DeepCool coolers will also include the new mounting hardware. Intel's new CPU will follow a new hybrid architecture that will be more powerful than previous generations through the use of high-performing, efficient cores. This new architecture will have a direct impact on the appearance of the CPU, as Alder Lake features an additional 500 contacts compared to its predecessors (i.e., 1200 to 1700); as a result, the socket had to be greatly enlarged. The heat spreader has a larger surface than before and most notably is no longer square, but rectangular. While this new generation of Intel CPUs promise even more performance, at the moment no readily available CPU cooler is compatible with the change. To help with the transition DeepCool is releasing a mounting upgrade kit that will be compatible with the LGA1700 socket. The kits will feature a new backplate and associated mounting bridges for the socket and include all components required to perform the installation. In order to receive a free mounting kit customers can contact HERE with proof of purchase of either an LGA1700 processor or an LGA1700 motherboard to reserve. Depending on different service regions, shipping charges may be incurred. Without an invoice, mounting kits will be available for purchase for USD/EUR . The following coolers will be compatible with new mounting kits. #lga1200 #lga1700 #lga1700retrofit #retrofitcpu #cpubracket #cpumount #cpuBRACKET heres the kits i use - they are the same style regardless of the yellow tab adjusters gigabyte style etc these are 1700 mounts that can be used nzxt style msi etc 1700 mounts can be used 1200/1151 bracket mounts with screws and bracket lga 1151/1200 mount kit lga 1151/1200 bracket kit cheapest kit cheap cougar aqua 360 dont have the lga 1700 mounting bracket or kit so u can use it on a 12th or 12th gen cpu so here is an option you can do ive done it plenty of times and it works with no damage or issues TO BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU GUYS i know i didnt remove the plastic protector off the aio pump, i left it on so i could show u guys what happens to the thermal grease , how it spreads out , whether it actually makes good contact or not firstly the thermal pase was only added to show u guys that it does spread the grease evenly and very well, meaning that it does make good contact with the cpu, for an effective cooling method originally this is the cougar aqua 360 aio liquid cooler , it has its own mount but i wanted a better and easier mounting method so i can easily remove it if i have to , whethe rit be for changing paste, changing mobo , upgrading etc so i combined the bracket off another 1200 mount and the screws to form this style of mounting hardware for lga 1700 series cpus from the cougar kit all you need is the plastic spacers from the lga 1151/1200 kit all you need are the bolts x4 and the mounting bracket now in my video i used one off a typical gigabyte and also msi kit but as long as the mount is adjustable it will work , it needs to be able to to adjusted in and out, that allows for you to adjust it to the right size for the 1700 bracket the kit i list is for a bracket with a yellow adjuster , but it works exactly the same as the mount i have used , and also allows for the bolt to be screwed in thats most important , that it mounts the way i have done it
