It’s a high-quality monitor but on the cheap. A perfect solution for working or studying from home without spending a ton of money. PRICE: This monitor costs $160US and I picked 2 of these on Amazon to create a comfortable home workplace. Expectations: I wanted 2 quality screens that weren’t going to give out or cause me trouble down the road. I would be using the screen for a home office, including email, word, excel, watching YouTube videos in my down time or even playing a game, so I don’t need a 4k screen or that expense. I have a small desk, and will be sitting close to the screens, so I didn’t want any large monitors to make me feel sick or give me vertigo after working from home all day, so 22-24in screen was my goal. I also did not want to spend a lot of money on this setup. Also, the number of Amazon 5-star reviews and the bonus features made this purchase a no-brainer and now I have a pretty sweet setup. I start off with a quick unboxing. Tech info: It’s a screen rounded up to be called a 22-inch monitor. It’s full HD displaying in 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9. I love the mat finish. Features: 1. Super thin frame. BenQ calls it frameless. This is important to me for when I use the monitors side-by-side, I don’t like any gap between the 2. 2. At the bottom we have the environmental lighting sensor, to help the screen adjust its brightness depending on lighting conditions. 3. On the bottom on each side of the device, we speakers. The sound quality isn’t great. Demo 08:10. 4. I show the power and menu buttons. 5. On the back of the monitor, we have the 4 screw holes for mount stands. They are 100mm apart. 6. Power connection. Pretty standard. 7. I show how to install the include stand here. 8. We have 2 HDMI inputs, a D-SUB (or VGA). Next to that there is an audio line in and an output for a headset or external speakers. Pretty standard options. 9. Finally, in the lower corner we have a slot for a lock. The monitor has beaten my expectations so far. Also, get this, the refresh rate of 75Hz with a response time of 1ms over HDMI. Perfect for smooth video and the option of some gaming without lag or ghosting. Here I unbox for the dual monitor arms. This setup is great for smaller monitors and will hold the monitor quite study onto my desk. It only cost me about $30US. With a little adjusting of the arms, the monitors fit together perfectly with no visible gap in between the monitors. Footage and audio review: Super sharp! The colors also look fantastic; the skin tones and contrast are spot on perfect. Here is another shot and, just amazing. Viewing for various angles was also perfect. Impressive to say the least and for $160, what a steal. The audio isn’t as perfect, but since I’ll be using a headset, it’s not a deal breaker. Gameplay: I don’t see any jitter or ghosting. Very nice. I connect the monitor to my NVR from my security cameras here and show how it looks in various rooms. Lastly, I talk about the eye protection features this monitor offers, which is another bonus feature for me. 1. The first feature is eye care. The screen brightness will adjust given the amount of ambient light present in the room. 2. The second eye protection feature takes us to the Picture Mode where we have several display options like Low Blue Light, Movie, Game, and so on. I demo each. I’ve been using these 2 monitors for about 6 months now and I still love them. They are perfect for my home office setup, or a student’s workspace, or even a security camera display. Perfect size, not overwhelming, perfect quality for my office work, watching videos and some casual gaming, perfect setup with no visible cables, and we can’t forget about the bonus features, like the tiny border so my screens fit tight together with no gap and the eye care features so I feel little to no eye strain at the end of the day. And the most important part, the price of course. A great workspace without breaking the bank. Muy buenas a todos, hice este pequeño video para las personas que tengan pensado adquirir este monitor y no estén seguros de cómo viene y cómo se ve. En mi caso antes de comprar no encontré mucha información o videos de cómo se ve. Espero sea de su ayuda, por el momento va funcionando bien, las bocinas no son muy Top, pero hacen su chamba. Al final conecté mediante HDMI, ya que con el VGA no se aprovecha bien la resolución. Este monitor lo usaré más que nada para el trabajo, todavía lo probaré para jugar, pero me debe ir bien, trabaja a 60Hz aunque por ahí leí que se puede aumentar a 75Hz. Hey guys! This is the very first vlog/unboxing/review thingy that i ever made. There are lots of discrepancies though. But nevertheless I'll be trying to make more of this in the future and expand my horizon. Though my contents will be focusing more on digital arts and design, I'll be doing unboxings and reviews from time to time whenever I'll have something to add in my mini studio. I bought this monitor on #EASYPC on #SHOPEE. They were very careful with the parcel and were very responsive. So the monitor got to me safe and sound. It had scratches though probably because of the delivery process. I hadn't included this on the video because it almost went up to twenty minutes. I had to cut down lots of stuffs and only managed to shorten the video down to almost fifteen minutes. But if you did read up to this point then thank you very much.
