I'm currently paying almost $60 after taxes for each copper line through AT&T, so converting to a SIP setup should be saving me a couple hundred dollars a month. As a hotel, I have to ensure our fire lines and emergency lines are compliant, which I don't think my SIP setup has. More research needed for that side. Here's the handset. I will say, taking this handset out, it is nice and sturdy. This is really nice, it's to clean the screen. It's a little nice, added bonus. Here's the power supply, that's in the box. We've got our cable and our handset cord. Okay, and that is everything inside the box, so let's power it on. Okay, so we're going to start putting this together. One really cool feature, that I wanted to show you was the stand, it comes out and it's super flexible. So, you can kind of set it and adjust it, to what you like. So, we'll let this power on, and then we'll talk about some of the awesome features. The GXV3480 IP Video Phone for Android, combines a 16-line IP video phone, with a multi-platform video conferencing solution and the functionality of an Android tablet, to offer an all-in-one communications solution. The phone features an 8-inch touch screen, 2 Megapixel camera, dual microphone, dual Gigabit ports with PoE and PoE+, HD audio and HD video, and it's integrated with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. It also runs on Android 11 and offers instant access to hundreds of thousands of Android apps. By combining a state-of-the-art IP video phone, an advanced video conferencing solution, and the functionality of an Android tablet, the GXV3480 offers businesses, throughout the world, a powerful desktop communication and productivity solution. All right, so let's explore this phone a little bit. There is a wall mount available for this model, but it is sold separately. One of the neat features, right off the bat, is this camera here, so you can adjust this, at different angles, but it also gives you the ability, to turn it completely off. Okay, so up here we've got our message indicator light. You can do your video call or audio call. You can add accounts straight from here and back to our home screen. You can add key accounts here. Here are some of our apps. We can go into some of the settings here. You have your account status and your WiFi hotspot. This is where you can get into all the details. If you don't like the brightness, you can play around with that, here. You've got your date and time. You can invite them to join a video call, right from that screen there. Here's where you can see your call history, conference calls, incoming, outcoming, and missed calls. And again, this is just like your Android-based phone. So, you can go in here and you can download apps. You can do presentations right from the phone. You've got your calculator and programmable keys. If you need to quickly get to the WiFi or Bluetooth or do not disturb, if you want to mute the phone, you can do it all by just swiping down here. Here, you can set up a couple different wallpapers. It's kind of neat. There are a couple pre-programmed ones, so let's just stop that. But if you have your own pictures, that you want to add, you can do that too. So, you can see it's a really nice, vibrant display. And there you have it. Okay, so that concludes our unboxing of Grandstream's GXV3480. I had a lot of fun playing around with this phone. It's super intuitive. The display is very bright, as you can see. The camera was easy to play around with. I would highly recommend, trying out this phone. I do give this phone two thumbs up. It gives you everything that you need, for working from home or a hybrid environment, from video conferencing, the Bluetooth to WiFi, you've got a hotspot on this. Become a reseller today! Mary Cheney: Hey everybody. We're back with another VoIP News Update. Grandstream has launched two new models to their GRP carrier-grade IP phone series. So let's welcome the GRP2624 and the GRP2634. They're both HD audio. They both have eight lines and they both have a swappable faceplate. They both have integrated Bluetooth and they are both dual gigabit. So let's talk about the differences between these two models. The GRP2624 has the ability to add on an extension module, where the 2634 does not. Instead, the GRP2634 has a swappable paper insert. Mary Cheney: As mentioned earlier, when we were talking about the features of this GRP series of carrier-grade IP phones from Grandstream, they do also have the ability to have that swappable faceplate, which gives you the ability to customize those with your logos, or maybe your customers' logos. Grandstream is releasing a new Wi-Fi access point. It is the GWN7660 Wi-Fi 6 access point. Mary Cheney: So if you haven't already heard, Wi-Fi 6 is a thing and more and more manufacturers, specifically in this conversation, Grandstream is taking action and coming out with devices that are ideal for a Wi-Fi 6 environment. I wanted to highlight some of the cool features. The 7660 can handle up to 256 concurrent Wi-Fi devices. It has advanced QS to ensure real-time performance. Mary Cheney: Recently updated their channel program page and we wanted to highlight some of the great features that are available to resellers that are interested in reselling Snom, or if you haven't registered, to sell Snom, you can do that through VoIP Supply. As we navigate through this, you can see, they have great benefit programs for sales leads for their enabled partners, marketing and support assets, and access to demo equipment.
