Finally finished! I started saving up over 6 years ago, waited another year to get all the parts. Many enjoy those shorter time lapsed type videos (I'll edit one at some point), but most of my subs are new to this, so I thought it would be great to show what the journey is like. This is not a sponsored video and I had to buy every part. Some answers to FAQs I've been getting: -I will game on this but this was mainly built for content creation and to cut down on my video editing/rendering which takes a lot of time on my old PC. This build will help so much! -I didn't pay scalper prices, I bought at retail prices by staying patient, which is one reason why it took a year to get everything I needed. -I dont have any other storage drive other than the 2 2TB m.2 drives shown. I use a NAS solution for networked for storage -Yes I will overclock haven't dialed in the settings yet, still figuring things out. One reason I went WC and got the CPU that I did. -If you have questions, feel free to ask! I know this is a super popular case so if you have questions on anything, I'll try and pay it forward by helping as much as I can. I learned a lot by asking people on other videos in comments and it helped me a lot. -The part that I could have saved on and gotten something cheaper was the PSU. It's overkill currently, BUT- I wanted something ultra quiet & this one will enable me to use it for an even bigger/more power hungry build in the future, plus flexibility to add 2nd card. Also it was the most quiet/efficient even with lots of headroom. - I really wanted to get a 3080 to save and use in other areas, but couldn't get one at retail. The extra VRAM on the 3090 helps with a lot of the things I will use it for, so it worked out and no regrets. -Yes guys the bubbles in the front go away -Not shown is I used the corner of my wall/table edge for a 90 bend to make it tighter. (mandrel radius too big). I was experimenting, but I liked it, ended up using it. I also ended up swapping a tube with a pre-bent for the final showcase. Previously 2 different brand D5 Vario pumps, OCOOL Vpp655t & an XSPC D5 Vario, were grinding on the housing of the reservoir but after switching those pumps out for the EK-G2 D5 pump there is no more grinding and the pump top spins freely. According to EK support's email back to me about this problem, they did not confirm this reservoir works with all D5 pumps, but they stated it works with their D5 pumps. Many websites state the EK- Quantum Kinetic FLT 240 D5/DDC Body states this is compatible with all D5 pumps. Here is EKWB support's exact response: Our EK- Quantum Kinetic FLT 240 D5/DDC Body D-RGB - Plexi is compatible with the D5 pump, but unfortunately, we don't have any information on how it works or if it is compatible with other (not EK) D5 pumps. You can try with our D5 pump -

Its intricate design responds sympathetically to the unique PCB it was created for. We also launched the Z490 Aorus Xtreme monoblock - the first EK Momentum series monoblock that utilizes the award-winning EK Magnitude CPU water block cooling engine. And so much more... In this video, you will see: 0:00 EK-Quantum Torque Fittings Choosing the right fittings and tubing is almost equally important as choosing any other component for your liquid cooling loop. And our EK Quantum Torque Lineup has a vast jaw-dropping selection! We have developed brand new EK-Quantum Torque 90° and 45° FF adapter fittings! Tight bends don't have to be tight bends anymore! Using an FF angled adapter fitting means eliminating the radius of the bend, and therefore the possibility to make bends without actual bending! Another essential novelty is the drain valve. It has a cap to keep it nice and clean in your build, and it is operated with a simple sliding movement for opening and closing. It's smaller than the old ball valve, and it has one male thread to be directly installed anywhere, without the need for additional adapters. We also have three new types of Torque-style plugs. This is a quick look at the EKWB Quantum Kinetic VTX Pump Reservoir Combo in Plexi. The VTX pump is EK's version of the DDC pump. This pump is slightly different in to a DDC in that it is liquid lubricated similar to a D5 so it doesn't have a external heatsink. It also has a lower turn down than a traditional DDC pump. The Quantum Kinetic reservoir has an addressable RGB strip inside as well.
