Well for starters i want to say im sorry for the rushed video. The Cuteness factor was having a massive meltdown during filming and i got sidetracked. Now with that being said, this blade had to come to the channel. I am a huge ken onion fan, his blades are unlike any other on the market. This is a perfect EDC blade, or a gentleman's style folder. In dieser Vorstellung geht es einmal mehr um ein Messermodell, welches ob seines Designs polarisieren dürfte: das CRKT Heron. Schöpfer ist Lucas Burnley, der in der Vergangenheit schon einigen gelungenen Messerdesign auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat, man denke an das Böker Kwaiken oder das CRKT Tuna. Das Heron macht es dem Messerfreund nicht unbedingt einfach, sich zum Applaus zu erheben, denn es kommt sperrig daher: Schon die Gestaltung des Griffes mit G10 und Kohlefaser ist etwas speziell und haptisch wie optisch auf alle Fälle anders als üblich. Auch die 3,8 mm starke und 7,4 cm lange Sheepfoot-Klinge aus 8Cr14Mov Stahl im blackwashed finish wird nicht jeden abholen. Der Gesamteindruck ist jedoch (zumindest für mich) positiv, alles passt zusammen bei diesem kompakten, aber auch gewichtigen Worker. Ein Frame Lock und ein brauchbarer Clip sowie ein Lanyard Hole runden das Angebot ab. Letztlich ist dieses Budget-Messer wohl reine Geschmackssache... Wie immer, keine Werbung, lediglich die Schilderung eigener Eindrücke. Gute Unterhaltung!
