Your printer is a single-sided printer and you wish to activate it in two-sided mode. To do this, obtain the activation key for the flip-over module. Carry out the following procedure to activate your printer in two-sided mode: Your printer must be powered on and active (not in standby mode). - Open the printer cover. - Remove the ribbon from the printer if present. - Take your activation key and insert it in the location provided. - Close the cover. The 3 LEDs on the control panel start flashing one after the other for between 5 and 10 seconds. - Activation has finished and is successful when the 3 LEDs remain lit for several seconds then turn off. - Open the printer cover and remove the activation key. Put the ribbon back. - Close the cover. Carry out a print of a technical test card to obtain all the updated information about your printer after activation has taken place. Follow the procedure below: - Ensure a card is present in the printer. - Press the pushbutton for four to five seconds until it turns off. - Press and hold down the pushbutton again. The indicator light on the pushbutton comes on. - Release the pushbutton once the indicator light flashes. - The test card is printed. - The printed card is ejected into the output hopper. To remove it, open the door of the output hopper. The printer is ready for two-sided printing.

To carry out an in-depth clean of your printer, we recommend you clean the card feed rollers in addition to carrying out a basic clean every 5 regular cleans. 1. Open the printer cover. 2. Remove the ribbon from the printer if present. 3. Close the cover and check it has clicked shut. 4. Remove a new "T" shaped cleaning card provided by Evolis from its sachet. 5. Double-click the control panel's pushbutton. 6. When the Card/ribbon LED on the control panel flashes, insert the "T" card into the feeder. Cleaning starts. 7. Remove the "T" card. 8. Peel off the film from an adhesive cleaning card supplied by Evolis. 9. Insert the cleaning card in the feeder, adhesive face upwards. Cleaning starts. 10. The used adhesive card is ejected automatically by the hopper. Remove the used adhesive card. 11. Put the ribbon back into the printer.
