Ambra Calabria from Nishane is an uncomplicated but definitely unique composition that blends amber and vanilla with bitter green facets and citrus. It has a fresh, zesty opening but quickly evolves into a sweet, sensual, slightly floral/powdery scent due to the jasmine and vanilla. Overall unisex but a touch feminine in my opinion. Long lasting for sure, but relatively mild projection, and inoffensive. Not as fresh as you might think based on the opening, but definitely wearable in hot weather, and the unique combination of notes does create somewhat of a sea breeze accord. The scent may not be ultra mass appealing, but it is transportive for me for sure. A niche lover's dream, but not your everyday crowd pleaser.
