Using the Urban Armor Gear Civilian Watch Strap was surprising in a good way. This watch strap is lit. Which is odd for me to say because the Civilian iPhone case is not lit. The Civilian Watch strap basically straddles the void between the Apple Silicone Strap and a normal strap because you get the best of both worlds. Until you try to lift weights with the end of the video! Get the Urban Armor Gear Civilian Strap on Amazon! Amazon US: Amazon CA: Amazon UK: Amazon DE: At MREH, Monty and I base our reviews on actual usage. With watch straps, it means we have to use them. The first thought that comes into my mind when it comes to UAG products is BOLD and BULKY! BOLD and BULKY! BOLD and BULKY! Even their active watch strap is BOLD and BULKLY. But this strap is not. This UAG strap is going to make it into my weekly rotation. The strap is made from silicone with a soft touch finish so it’s not as aggressive as some of the knock off straps I have BUT has a bit more texture than the standard silicone Apple Watch strap. It’s tacky enough that tucking the strap may be mildly annoying. The strap also has a bit more give than the Apple Watch strap which may be a problem when I do the kettlebell test. UAG claims that the silicone is anti-microbial BUT this feature only occurs on the box and not the website so who knows. This two color strap has UAG’s signature orange color and blue or black. The orange isn’t as outrages as UAG’s silicone Apple AirPod’s case which is nice. The inside of the strap has a honey comb pattern which exists on the inside of the civilian case. Unlike the Apple Watch Silicone strap, UAG went with a normal stainless steel buckle and a tuck enclosure which is why I say it’s the best of both worlds. You get the rock solid security of a buckle without an annoying strap and free loop. What stands out for me is the buckle. UAG uses their own custom hardware which is nice BUT the tapered edges give the buckle an awesome and unique look. Most companies use a non-descript buckle or a buckle with their logo on it BUT UAG goes the extra distance from my perspective. The strap will accommodate wrists with a circumference between 15-20 cm. When it comes to the fit of the product, I didn’t notice a difference in terms of lug looseness between the Civilian strap and a Apple product. There tends to be a bit more give with silicone lugs when compared to the metal ones. I will note that one of the static parts of the lug came off when I tried using the strap for the first time. When it comes to using the strap, it fits between a normal strap and the Apple Watch Silicone strap/Nike straps. Why? Because it easier to workout with because it flexes with your wrist when you’re moving, something that my Archer strap doesn’t do which was the last strap I reviewed. BUT the strap is much sweatier to use. Apple’s Silicone watch strap has a slight dip on the inside of the case so it’s not making contact with your 100% of the time. There’s room to breath for your wrist. On the Civilian case, there isn’t. It sits flat on your wrist. Good thing it’s silicone as you can wipe it down quick after a workout so that you don’t suffer from “moist wrist”. I had no issues using the strap while working and typing on my laptop as the silicone conformed to whatever surface I was using without any issues. So how about the 50lb kettle bell test? Хочу рассказать про UAG Apple wach 4-5 44 mm Посмотрев обзоры и какую то информацию в интернете на данный гаджет я в итоге так не чего не нашёл вменяемого и вопросы что меня интересовали я так и не мог для себя найти на них ответ. По этому возможно и вас мучает то же самое что мучало меня при выборе данного аксессуара для часов. -И так. -UAG это круто. Защита , стиль все на высоте у продуктов данной компании. А главное защита это самое главное. -увидел я данную штуку случайно в интернете в дико загорелся. Ведь я являюсь активным пользователем и частенько бью Часы из за своей работы ( работаю фотографом во время съёмок всякое бывает) Сам являюсь обладателем чехла UAG plasma на iPhone XR и он уже много раз выручал меня и спасал телефон от ударов. По этому новость о броне для часов вызвало у меня дикий интерес. . Первое : корпус из пластика ( не из силикона , не из резины , не из другой ерунды что цепляется за одежду, а именно из жесткого и гладкого пластика. И это очень круто. Это был первый момент из за чего UAG выигрывает у всех остальных конкурентов кто делает подобные вещи. - второе корпус так сделан что его надел на Часы и не чего не надо больше не клеить не крутить не вкручивать как у конкурентов данного продукта. - Выглядит отлично ( я бы сказал великолепно в живую) стиль UAG его не с чем не спутаешь. - Очень понравилась как работает кнопка Home на часах в данном чехле. Понравилось что если нужно ухватить за Часы что то пролистать пальцем что то , то это можно сделать без проблем. Очень помогает при беге или когда лежишь на спине в машине - Вырезы под динамики тоже сделаны отлично и не чего не закрывает и не мешает звуку и микрофонам. Выполнено на хорошем уровне. Что не понравилось ( пунктов не много, но они есть) Первое и самое главное это острота краев чехла , это сильно чувствуется когда вытаскиваешь из коробки и начинаешь им пользоваться. Особенно нижние рёбра. Первое время они дико впивались в руку и было не приятно. Но со временем рёбра сгладились и в принципе стало нормально либо рука уже привыкла. ( первое время не советую сильно затягивать ремешок на часах , и все будет хорошо. 👌🏽 В целом продукт отличный и не имеющих аналогов. Если вы являетесь любителем UAG то это оно, можете брать Если вам нужен чехол который накинули на Часы и пошли работать и что то делать ( спорт зал , активные тренировки , то это ваш выбор ) пошли на встречу или под строгий стиль, шёлк пальцами корпус и сняли его. И у вас стоковый вид часов.

The UAG Scout. I totally forgot that I bought it. This the UAG Civilian. I like the Civilian. But I have a serious dislike for the Scout. It took me FOREVER why I dislike this version of UAG’s silicone straps. Check out the UAG Civilian Strap better: At MREH, Monty and I base our reviews on actual usage. This channel is powered by Monty’s looks and my pecs. Now we occasionally get products sent to us but most of them are purchased ourselves. During this isolation video series, out of the 8 UAG products I reviewed, the only product that UAG sent us was the Scout for the iPad. Everything else was bought for using Monty’s nickels. The UAG Scout is a silicone Apple Watch strap that has anti-microbial properties. Which won’t do much for whatever everyone catching these days but worth noting. The watch strap is quite thin. It’s only 20.5 mm wide which is about 4mm slimmer than Apple’s sport loop, 1 mm slimmer than Apple’s elastomer band as well as the UAG Civilian. It may not seem like much but that 1mm does make a difference. Now like the Civilian, UAG uses a custom buckle which is absolutely badass from my perspective and the lugs on the strap are above average in terms of fit. The fit is better Spigen’s straps but doesn’t come close to Apple’s or the Mifa straps. And honestly, using this strap after reviewing the Mifa straps felt like a backwards step for me. From comfort to annoyance. The silicone used in the Scout has a finish that’s sticker than the UAG Rugged case. Yes, this watch strap has a finish that is more aggressive than that AirPod pro case that has the pocket pulling power of 9000. That’s the main reason why I think the Civilian is better than this Orange scout. Because the Apple Watch with a Civilian strap will actually move around a bit on your wrist. The blue parts on the strap has a much less aggressive finish. The Scout will stay in one spot regardless of how uncomfortable it is. Now as a side note, here’s a quick back story on this Scout. I purchased the Scout the same time as the Ciivilian and totally forgot about it until it showed up in the mail three weeks ago. So I was able to use, review, break the Civilian and have the replacement show up weeks before the Scout showed up. The aggressive finish managed to annoy me all my daily activities. Working at my laptop was annoying because the watch strap would get caught. The watch strap felt sweaty when I slept with it and the inability to move around while working out was annoying. Nothing like having something jam into your wrist bone during WOD of overhead squats and T2B’s. I had to remind myself how much better it was to workout with the Civilian by wearing both of them during my last workout before writing this review. The slightly slimmer strap also adds to the annoyance of the Scout because the strap felt way more constricting than the Civilian. What have I learned when trying to figure out what the BEST CUSTOM printed Apple Watch strap is? Is that the product needs to be comfortable if you're planning on using it as an actual day-to-day watch strap. Out of the four straps, there's only two that really make the cut. For a minimalistic monogrammed look, get a Casetify band. If you want to print images, then you’ll have to get your Apple Watch strap through Zazzle. And I’d personally stay away from custom bands from Case Station and Skinit, if I were you. SkinIt 00:00:45 Skinit band was the worst performing band due to the fading. I’m not sure if itʼs the specific color that I used or if Skinit’s printing process is below average. I’m leaning more towards the below average printing, to be honest. The band by itself has a leather type of pattern though I donʼt think it actually is real leather. The inside of the band has a felt-like material that we didnʼt really care for. After a week of usage, my yellow band became a light yellow band. Basically, any area where the strap made contact with anything was going to fade. Designing the band wasnʼt bad using Skinit’s web designer. The designer wasnʼt as straightforward as Zazzleʼs but a notch better than Case Station’s. When it comes to comfort, Skinit, along with the Case Station is generally uncomfortable. I canʼt use them for very long when I’m working on our laptop. Case Station 00:03:38 Case Station and Skinit use the same based strap. Same flimsy free loop, same annoying buckle and same felt underside. But there are two differences, I would like to note: One, the print quality of the Case Station product is much better than the Skinit product. The Case Station band has almost twice the usage and the colors of the band havenʼt faded much. The letters on the Case Station product are much cleaner and the wear and tear along the top of the lug isnʼt as bad. Two, the web-designer. Case Station’s designer was frustrating to use. It took many attempts to get multiple layers onto the watch. Zazzle 00:05:40 Zazzle product was the best when it comes to the custom image bands but itʼs not better than the monogrammed Casetify ones. The best thing about the Zazzle product was the web designer. It gave different views so I knew exactly what we were going to get. I used the Zazzle band for almost 4 weeks before doing this review and unlike the other two products, I canʼt see any discoloration. The area around the lug still looks pretty good as there is no discoloration from what we can tell. The band is completely smooth and doesnʼt have the faux leather print. The band edge hasnʼt chipped yet which is the only band on this list that hasn’t. Unfortunately, Zazzle bands buckle was just as uncomfortable as the Case Station and SkinItʼs. The smooth plastic underside isn’t great for strap sweat either. Casetify 00:08:29 Casetify doesn’t allow custom photo printing on the bands which is its biggest downside. They only offer monogrammed ones. But if all youʼre looking is to add a bit of monogrammed class to your Apple watch get one from Casetify. Casetify bands are way more comfortable because of the materials and the buckle. The material used by Casetify has more flexibility than the other products so when your wrist presses down on the watch strap, it conforms to the pressure. From a build quality perspective, the Casetify bands have generally held up quite well. Certain edges of certain bands have started to crack and we’re assuming that the band is going to look a little rough after a while. Да, сегодня я хочу показать свой новый кожаный ремешок для Apple Watch. Почему я купил именно такой? Дело в том, что оригинальные и совместимые силиконовые ремешки я носить долго не могу, т.к. появляется аллергия (распространённая, к слову, проблема). По этому я решил поискать другие варианты. Часы Apple Watch мне нравятся, ими приятно пользоваться, но носить с комплектным ремешком я их просто не смог. По этому выбор пал на кожаный ремешок от MAIKES.
