Машинка для чистки велосипедной цепи ➤ ➤ Скидки до 20% при заказах в Интернет магазинах: Решил сегодня протестировать вещицу, которая у меня валяется уже около года! Никак руки не доходили. То некогда, то смазки тефлоновой нет и т.д. Купил смазку и решил, что пора. Сама машинка для велосипедной цепи довольно простая и дешёвая. Внутри стоят шестерни со щеточками, которые выскребают грязь из звеньев цепи, таким образом, производя чистку. Я развел Fairy в воде, и этим раствором промывал цепь. Ушло у меня 500 мл. Можно было прочищать ещё, просто надоело. Затем таким же образом промыл цепь велосипеда обычной водой. И, после просушки покрыл все звенья смазкой. По началу, машинка немного застревала. То ли я держал её не правильно, то ли шестерни были не притёрты. Но она довольно быстро стала работать нормально. В целом, мне всё понравилось, цепь теперь чувствует себя заметно лучше. ;)

As a cyclist, it’s important to keep your chain clean and lubricated to improve performance and reduce wear on your components. Unfortunately, it can be tedious and messy to clean your chain which is why many people skip doing it or only do it infrequently. First introduced in 1988, the Finish Line Pro Chain Cleaner was developed to make cleaning chains quick and easy without requiring removal of the chain. In this review, we’ll be looking at the latest third-generation version of the Pro Chain Cleaner which Finish Line claims uses shop-quality brushes and plastics. The chain cleaner retails for $ which includes a 4oz bottle of degreaser and 2oz bottle of lubricant. Finish Line also offers the chain cleaner separately for $ as well as a $ rebuild kit. Finish Line has designed the Pro Chain Cleaner to simply clip onto your chain and scrub the inner links without requiring any manual labor or chain removal. It’s primarily constructed from a transparent green plastic housing that uses three plastic brushes in sequence. It has a fully serviceable design with opening top which can be rebuilt using Finish Line’s $ rebuild kit that ensures you can continue to use the chain cleaner for multiple years. The top lid is attached to the body using a metal clip and has the center brush molded into it. There are two scrubber pads at the exit of the cleaner to prevent drips and soak up excess liquids. To reduce fluid dripping out of the cleaner, Finish Line has designed the exit to have a 47 upward angle. There is even a magnet built into the base of the housing to trap metallic debris. Setting up the cleaner is quick and easy as you simply have to remove the lid and add a mixture of water / degreaser up to the fluid level indicator. After that you simply clip it on the chain and back pedal until you’re happy with the results. Although the cleaner is designed to be drip free, we found that the chain still retained some cleaning fluid and would drip. We’d recommend using the chain cleaner outdoors or somewhere that is easy to clean. Thanks to the multiple brushes and scrubber pads, the Finish Line Pro Chain Cleaner does a great job cleaning between the chain pins and both the front and backsides. It’s significantly faster than hand wiping the chain with degreaser. Pedaling with the chain cleaner attached is easiest if you keep the cleaner aligned with the natural chain position, otherwise you may have to apply more force. ... Spray e-Bike Cleaner to your frame, wheels, and components. Step 3 Wait 5 minutes for e-Bike Cleaner to break down stubborn grit and grime before removing from the surface. It’s important to avoid using a hose or power washer for this step, as water can easily seep into your bike’s sensitive electronic components. We recommend using a clean cloth to wipe the surface for a super clean finish. Step 4 Now that your e-Bike is looking clean and contaminant free, it’s time to relubricate. The conditions you will be riding in may dictate the lubricant you choose, but we recommend using Finish Line e-Bike Lube as it’s an extremely robust and versatile lubricant designed specifically for e-Bike applications. Once applied to the chain, it will set up with a light, wet film which includes unique additives that withstand high-pressures and ensure the lube stays within the chain’s pins. Keeping your drivetrain properly maintained is an integral part of making sure your bike runs smoothly. We show you the basics of cleaning and re lubricating your chain for increased performance and life. Keeping your chain properly lubricated is an essential part of maintaining a healthy bike. It doesn’t take long and it’ll increase the life of your drivetrain as well as making for a smoother ride. What you’ll need: • Degreaser • Sponge or rag • Chain lubricant There’s two main kinds of chain lubricant: dry and wet. Their purposes correspond well to the weather that you’ll be riding in. Dry lubricant is a bit thinner to not attract the dust in the dry, and wet lube is thicker to protect the chain more in muddy or wet conditions. Wet lubricant will attract more dust is used in dry conditions, whereas dry lubricant will quickly wear out in wet and muddy conditions, so it’s important to use the correct lubricant. Step 1 Before you add any lubricant to the chain, it’s important to first clean it. Simply using soap and water won’t sufficiently clean your chain. A degreaser is essential to make sure that all the old grease and muck on the chain is properly removed. Slowly back-pedal while applying the degreaser onto the chain, making sure it is generously coated on the chain. Step 2 Let the degreaser soak into the chain for a minute or so. Next, run the chain through the chain sponge or rag to remove all the grease. Step 3 Rinse all the excess off with warm water. It is easiest to soak a paper towel with water and run the chain through it. Any excess grease left over can mean that your chain won’t stay properly lubricated. Step 4 Once the chain is dry, lubricate the chain by slowly back-pedalling and applying a steady, small stream of lubrication evenly over the chain. Make sure to get into every link. Step 5 Leave the chain for a minute to allow the lubrication to settle in. Then gently wipe the chain with a clean rag to remove any excess lubrication from the chain. Facebook: Twitter: Instagram:

In this video, I show you and tell you how to clean a bike chain really easily. There are some advanced ways to clean your chain, but this is a simple method that only involves some soap and water. It is definitely not the most effective way to do it, but it definitely works pretty well. In addition, it is easy enough that you can do it quickly whenever it is needed. I usually do this whenever I wash my bike because it is quick and effective, and I always have some spare dish soap somewhere in my house. Cleaning your bike chain comes with all kinds of benefits. Your bike will feel smoother as you pedal and shift gears, and it’ll sound smooth too (no crunching or squeaking as you ride). Join the Facebook Group: In this video I’m going to explain how to clean a bike chain without removing it. Sometimes it’s necessary to give your bicycle chain a thorough cleaning. Especially when you’re riding in wet conditions or trails and your bicycle doesn’t have fenders. As dirt accumulates into your bike chain it increases the rate of wear on your drivetrain and shifting performance decreases. There’s no better feeling than riding on a perfectly maintained bike, and a clean drivetrain goes a long way in adding to the quality of your ride. Sometimes after a single ride you might want to clean your bike chain. It would be a total nuisance if every single time you would have to remove the entire chain. Don’t worry. It’s absolutely not necessary to do so. Because it’s absolutely possible to clean a bike chain without removing it. Besides a rag or towel to clean your bike chain, there are 2 other things you’re going to need. The first is a chain cleaner tool or chain scrubber. This does necessitate a small investment from your part, but in terms of bicycle maintenance it’s probably the tool you’re going to be using the most if you do any serious type of riding. So it’s going to be well worth the money. I often name Park Tool when talking about cycling tools. When I decided to start buying specialty tools I also decided to go for this brand. But they’re not exactly cheap. And I bought a BBB chain cleaner tool for investing in Park Tool tools. As it turned out, the BBB chain cleaner is more expensive than Park Tool’s and it broke almost immediately. I still use it because I glued the 2 inch long crack in the casing. I don’t know if Park Tools is any better. They probably both come from the same factory in China, but I’m not going to buy the BBB again. That’s for sure. Talking about expensive products, chain cleaner fluid is definitely up there with the most expensive products you can use for your bicycle. Not on a per item basis, but since these products have a finite lifespan, the costs will add up with each use. All chain cleaner fluids including this Park Tool CB4 chain cleaner fluid are extremely expensive in my opinion. Of course I’ve used them, but these bio-degradable products seem to be somewhat less friendly when your left with an empty plastic bottle in your hand. That’s why I recommend using normal household products and reuse them. The best one of all of these is paint thinner, also known as mineral spirits, white spirits or terpentine. You can get this for a fraction of the cost of official bicycle cleaning fluid. You shouldn’t just throw used paint thinner down your sink. After I use a bike cleaner tool with paint thinner, I simply put the used fluid back into the same bottle. The dirt from your chain will sink to the bottom of the bottle since it’s heavier than the fluid. When the terpentine is deemed to dirty to be reused I filter it by emptying the content in another bottle with a nylon pantyhose over the opening. The dirt which accumulates in the pantyhose is easily disposed of in the trash can. So basically I can almost infinitely reuse the same cheap fluid over and over again. I’ll probably never go back to other degreasers, especially since chain cleaning isn’t the only bike maintenance job I use it for. Step 1: Using the chain cleaner tool A chain cleaner tool is pretty straightforward. You can open it and fill it with fluid. There’s a little indicator mark that helps you poor the right amount of liquid in the chain cleaner. The next step is to put your bicycle chain through the chain cleaner. To do so place the lower part of the chain cleaner underneath the chain and the cover on top. This will push the chain into the brushes that will scrub of the dirt once you start moving the chain through the cleaner. Moving the chain through the cleaner is done easily enough by rotating the crank. Performing fifty rotations will be sufficient to get all of the grease and dirt of the chain. If this isn’t the case, remove the chain cleaner and see look if there’s enough liquid in the cleaner. If there isn’t you’ll only use the brushes which will not be enough to actually remove the grease. Step 2: Drying and further cleaning of the bicycle chain using a towel or cloth The next step is to firmly wrap a towel or cloth around the chain. Rotate the crank again so the chain is pulled through the towel. This will remove any loose grease and dirt and mineral spirits as well. Check your towel after a couple of rotations. If the towel no longer get’s dirty, it means you have a perfectly clean chain. If you like this video give it a thumbs up.
